About this Role:

W.T. Byler Co., Inc., a Quanta Services company, is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Field Equipment Coordinator to support the inspection, condition monitoring, and operational readiness of heavy civil and railroad construction equipment across active job sites. This role serves as a critical link between field crews, supervisors, and the maintenance department &mdash; ensuring equipment is safe, compliant, and ready for daily operations. 
This is a field-based position requiring regular travel to job sites in and out of town, including overnight stays. The Field Equipment Coordinator will be embedded with field crews, attending safety meetings and developing hands-on familiarity with the equipment and the people who operate it.
What You'll Do:

Equipment Inspections &amp; Safety Compliance<ul><li>
Conduct routine inspections of heavy civil and railroad construction equipment for faults, damage, cleanliness, and operational readiness</li><li>
Verify spill kits, first aid kits, and fire extinguishers are stocked, current, and properly maintained</li><li>
Monitor and document PM (preventive maintenance) service dates and flag overdue items for scheduling</li><li>
