The HR Business Partner works in an internal consultative role to align the human resources function with the broader strategies and objectives of the organization. This position is responsible for conducting initial reviews and supporting workplace investigations, coordinating and tracking leave and accommodation processes, and serving as a point of contact for employee concerns. The HR Business Partner partners with leadership to ensure consistent application of policies and practices, supports responses to union grievances and external agencies such as Labor &amp; Industries, and helps maintain compliance with applicable employment laws. The Division of Hematology and Oncology has an outstanding opportunity for a Clinical Trials Budget Specialist to join their team in a limited-term appointment.
About this Opportunity:
Reporting to the Clinical Research Budget Manager, this position works closely with research faculty and staff and is responsible for clinical research budgeting and revenue cycle strategy, development and oversight. Specifically, this position oversees and negotiates optimal pricing and payment terms for investigator initiated and industry sponsored clinical trials, ensuring regulatory compliance and fiscal accountability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Clinical Trial Budget Development, Revenue Cycle, and Financial Risk Management :
<ul><li>Perform comprehensive and independent review of all documents related to the research study funding, including study budget, protocol, consent form, contract, and other supporting documentation.
</li><li>In collaboration with Principal Investigators, identify and differentiate between research-specific procedures and standard of care.
</li><li>Using established systems and committees, seek appropriate prices quotes from University of Washington, Fred Hutch Cancer Center, and other partner institution service departments. Independently negotiate successful clinical trial budgets and payment terms with study sponsors.
</li><li>Coordinate with disease program research staff to ensure each study&rsquo;s consent form delineates research care and standard of care.
</li><li>Coordinate with UW and FHCC offices involved in the review and negotiation of clinical trial budgets and contracts, including UW Clinical Research Budget and Billing office, the UW Office of Sponsored Programs, and the FHCC Research Implementation Office.
</li></ul>Post Award Revenue Recovery :
<ul><li>Perform comprehensive and independent review of patient activity, and in comparison to the Clinical Trial Agreement, perform complex financial reconciliations to ensure full revenue recovery.
</li><li>Identify invoiceable items in contracts and ensure regular invoicing and accounts receivable aging follow up.
</li><li>Use CTMS system, ONCORE, for financial reconciliation of studies that are operational in that system. Independently troubleshoot payment issues with sponsors in a timely manner.
</li><li>Identify and assist faculty to mitigate budget deficits, including communication with sponsor for amendments.

The College of Arts and Sciences is excited to offer new opportunities to contribute to our vital educational, research and outreach missions by joining one of our consolidated administrative cohorts as an Administrative Assistant 3.
Each cohort combines the finance, HR, and on-site management functions of between 3 and 8 academic departments to achieve service efficiencies and reduce operational costs. In concert with department chairs and faculty, CAS Dean&rsquo;s Office leaders, and the Administrative Support Team, each cohort will be supported by a Finance Analyst, an HR Manager, and several Department Administrative Assistants (Administrative Assistant 3&rsquo;s) reporting to a Cohort Administrative Manager. The primary responsibility of the Department Administrative Assistants is to provide front-office support, including time schedule data entry, to cohort units.
The College is now recruiting Administrative Assistant 3&rsquo;s to support the Cultures, Literatures and Languages Cohort (CLLC). The departments included in the cohort are:

Amazon Robotics (AR) seeks a talented and motivated Sr. Supply Chain Systems Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join the Robotics Supply Chain (RSC) team. The TPM will lead the business side adoption and evolution of the Kinaxis Supply Chain Planning application - will manage the business activities along requirements design to testing and deployment. Clean, analyze, and visualize data in software platforms such as PowerBI and Tableau for internal teams and Sound Generations partners.</li><li>
Manage the process of moving program client/service data into the Washington State GetCare system and provide all necessary reports out of that system to Program Directors.</li><li>
Maintain clear and accurate documentation of how data is stored, queried, and analyzed.</li><li>
Consult with program staff to guide effective data collection and reporting practices for both quantitative and qualitative data.</li><li>
Work with program staff and leadership to develop requested data presentations.</li><li>
Support the creation and testing of data collection tools that meet the measurement and reporting needs of the organization - including reporting, survey, transcription, and qualitative coding tools.</li><li>
Provide support in responding to any third-party data requests, such as funder reporting, evaluation activities, etc.</li><li>
