Job Description</h2>
Our canine group, under Allied Universal&reg; Enhanced Protection Services, is hiring a Canine Training Specialist a Explosive Detection K9 Trainer/Supervisor. The Explosive Detection K9 Trainer/Supervisor is responsible and accountable for the good order of the workforce as it relates to client expectations, the public, and the best business practices of Enhanced Protection Services Security. The Explosive Detection K9 Trainer/Supervisor will also be responsible for managing the duties, performance, and relations of Explosive Detection Canine (EDC) Handlers. 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
<ul><li>Participate in the development of employee Standards of Performance and Conduct as well as Post Standard Operating Procedures</li>
<li>Work directly with clients, assess client satisfaction; identify areas of concern, initiate corrective actions, and raise appropriate issues to senior management attention</li>
<li>Work directly with client management and personnel to help meet the obligations of our contract, ensure MSA compliance, and maintain positive customer relationships</li>
<li>Utilize best-practice industry knowledge, combined with career-experience, to train and retrain team members</li>
<li>Assess and recommend discipline for Handlers on their team, up to and including termination of employment</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with air cargo regulations and training requirements; design and implement internal audit methodologies; update training program to resolve deficiencies</li>
<li>Coach, discipline, and provide balanced feedback to personnel as appropriate; meet personally with employees and document coaching and disciplinary actions</li>
<li>Develop and implement training programs related to explosive detection and proper search patterns</li>
<li>Coordinate successfully with other MSA departments to ensure reliable operations</li>
<li>Implement and enforces employee Standards of Performance and Conduct</li>
<li>Implement and supervise the execution of Post Standard Operating Procedures, inclusive of client specific requirements and companywide business practices</li>
<li>Review post orders and other details of assignments with employees; ensure understanding and clarify misunderstandings</li>
<li>Monitor actions of subordinates to ensure attentive, courteous, and professional behavior toward client representatives, fellow employees, visitors, and the public</li>
<li>Ensure widest dissemination and understanding of employees Standard of Performance and Conduct</li>
<li>Serve as the direct representative of the MSA Security Leadership and Management team to the field, and relay and enforce operational decisions and intent</li>
<li>Conduct initial inquiry and investigations into allegations of the employee misconduct or SOP violations</li>
<li>Recommend and develop policies and procedures for maximizing efficiency, effectiveness, safety, and overall performance in meeting client's expectations</li>

<li>Complete administrative paperwork as required, and maintain records, forms, and reports as necessary</li>
<li>Coordinate successfully with other MSA departments to ensure reliable operations</li>
<li>Plan, organize and conduct explosives detection training of active and new EDC canines/handlers</li>
<li>Instruct canines/handlers how to detect explosives odor in an operational environment</li>
<li>Teach canines/handlers proper search patterns to locate explosives in a multitude of search areas</li>
<li>Conduct repetitive EDC operational training exercises</li>
<li>Supervise MSA employees to ensure observance to MSA policies, and the adherence to client requirements</li>
<li>Maintain proper control of training records and materials</li>
<li>Complete training reports of EDC teams</li>
<li>Report training results and deficiencies to management; provide expert-level recommendations for go forward</li>

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

<li>Minimum of three (3) years of experience with civilian law enforcement or military explosive detection handler</li>

POSITION OVERVIEW:
Under the supervision of the Director of Information Technology and the Desktop Support Manager, the Technical Support Specialist will provide high-quality end-user support for the various constituents at the School of Visual Arts (SVA). User groups include Administrative and Academic Staff, Students, and Faculty. End-user devices include desktop computers, laptops, printers, and mobile phones. Users are located in 12 buildings on the Manhattan campus and at home.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
<ul><li>Responsible for quality end-user support and proactive maintenance of administrative desktop hardware, software, and peripherals &ndash; this includes assets owned and managed by the college.</li><li>
Responsible for the updating and maintenance of the administrative desktop asset database, including data entry, tracking warranty and service contracts, and the registration of all hardware and software purchases.</li><li>
Assist with setting up, configuring, and deploying desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and other IT equipment.</li><li>
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including software updates, system backups, and antivirus management.</li><li>
Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate complex issues and follow up on resolution.</li><li>

As our Cloud Security Automation Engineer, you are responsible for ensuring that our high-velocity platform remains impenetrable. While the SRE team builds the automation engine, you build the brakes and the guardrails. You will &quot;feed the brain&quot; of our AI agents and Policy-as-Code engines, ensuring that any infrastructure deployed by our developers is validated for security and compliance before it ever reaches production.
