Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitor. The Janitor position is responsible for performing all-purpose cleaning and preservation of assigned area inside a particular building or multiple client sites. Exact tasks of janitorial crew are not definite, consequently, must be flexible in performing assigned duties per client's specifications. 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
<ul><li>Maintain and clean all floor surfaces, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming</li>
<li>Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and other objects</li>
<li>Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas</li>
<li>Empty trash cans for proper disposal; use of compactor for certain materials</li>
<li>Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaners and equipment</li>
<li>Spot clean carpets; assist in carpet extractions and shampooing</li>
<li>Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies</li>
<li>Follow housekeeping schedule</li>
<li>Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment, such as floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned, as required by the scope of work or customer needs</li></ul>
QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):
<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent, or a minimum of six (6) months of experience in a janitorial type position</li>
<li>On the job training will be provided</li>
<li>Attention to detail</li>
<li>Ability to follow instructions effectively</li></ul>
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):
<ul><li>Prior cleaning or janitorial experience</li>
<li>Familiarity with custodial practices and commercial cleaning standards</li>
<li>Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and waxing</li>

Work orders may include servicing city streets, public parking lots, private roads, private parking areas, etc. Regular drivers typically have more customer interaction than route drivers because assignments are based on specific customer needs.Position Purpose CDL DriverThe CDL Driver supports Mister Sweeper contracts which are similar to work performed by Regular Drivers including servicing city streets, public parking lots, private roads, private parking areas, etc. However, CDL Drivers operate vehicles which have a heavier gross vehicle weight and require a Class A or B commercial driver&rsquo;s license.QualificationsIf you have a Texas Commercial Drivers' License, you can drive our sweeper. We are looking for individuals who want to work for a Christian company with Christian values.
