Assist Procurement Engineer for Expediting Matters</li><li>
Attend kick-off meetings for all orders placed under the full responsibility of Project Procurement Engineer unless specifically assigned by Procurement Manager</li><li>
Apply expediting procedures as per main contract and procedures.</li><li>
Ensure the delivery of the material in full compliance with the agreement and project&rsquo;s requirements (i.e. schedule requirements, contractual deliveries etc.).</li><li>
Ensure communication and exchange of all related documentation between involved parties. Monitor distribution of Vendor&rsquo;s deliverables to all relevant internal stakeholders and vice versa and follows up their expediting and timely submission.</li><li>
Ensuring Vendor meets the Quality Assurance and Control requirements of this Project.</li><li>
Ensuring Vendor gives adequate notification for pre-inspection/pre-manufacturing meetings (PIM)</li><li>
Arranging and coordination of pre-inspection/pre-manufacturing meetings (PIM) including required PIM package documentation</li><li>
Arranging of inspection on receipt of Materials prior to taking into stock</li><li>
Supply the assigned inspectors with Purchase Orders and relevant technical enclosures.</li><li>
Check all inspector reports or field expeditor reports and coordinate inspections as per agreement requirements</li><li>
Report to Project Procurement Manager any critical issue prior to receiving the official reports in order to shorten the time to undertake the correct decisions.</li><li>
Deal with the Procurement Officers for the minor Purchase Orders follow-up</li><li>
Prepare expediting reports as per main contract.</li><li>
Coordination with Logistics section when delivery terms are fulfilled as per agreement and follow up until delivery at site.</li><li>
The Expeditor shall be responsible for the expediting of all Goods, Equipment &amp; materials, including all related Vendor documentation &amp; other deliverables, as required for the Project. This includes submission of monthly progress reports issued by Vendors to company via letter by EPC CONTRACTOR.</li><li>
Preparing the Field expediting plan shall be prepared including the details of vendor visits, Third party inspection details and FAT plans as applicable.</li><li>
Expedit all the replacement Goods and associated documents which is the subject of guarantee or insurance claims. Such expediting shall be performed as necessary for the duration of Contract.</li><li>
Maintain an up-to-date Material status report in the form of a purchase order register which shall include the following details as a minimum but not limited to:</li></ul><p>
a) MR Number b) Brief Description of Material c) Date of issue of MR d) Date of Floating the Enquiry e) Date of submission of technical bid Evaluation f) Date of receipt of Company Approval g) Date of Purchase order h) Name of Vendor i) FAT approval j) Release for shipment k) Date of Receipt of Material.</p><p><b>

Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Engineering Supply Chain Business or a related field.</li><li>
Typically, 12&ndash;15 years expediting experience in EPC projects with at least 2&ndash;3 years in a lead or supervisory role.</li><li>
Experience with ADNOC, Qatar Petroleum or PDO.</li><li>
Strong knowledge of mechanical electrical instrumentation and structural equipment manufacturing.</li><li>

The Railway Safety Lead Engineer is responsible for managing and assuring safety throughout the lifecycle of a design and build railway project. This role ensures that safety is embedded in engineering design, construction, testing, and commissioning, and that all activities comply with statutory regulations, contractual requirements, and international standards. The position provides technical leadership in system safety, hazard management, and safety assurance to deliver a safe and compliant railway system.</div>

Key Accountabilities</b></div>

Safety by Design &amp; Engineering Assurance</b></div>
<ul>
<li>Lead the integration of safety requirements into railway system design (track, civil works, signaling, telecoms, power, rolling stock, depots).</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with international railway safety standards (EN 50126/8/9, IEC 61508, CSM-RA, ISO 45001).</li>
<li>Review and approve design deliverables, method statements, and engineering solutions from a safety perspective.</li>
<li>Champion &ldquo;Safety by Design&rdquo; principles to eliminate or reduce hazards during construction and operation.</li>
</ul>
<div><b>System Safety Management</b></div>
<ul>
<li>Develop, maintain, and manage the project&rsquo;s Safety Management Plan and Safety Case.</li>
<li>Perform hazard identification, hazard analysis, and risk assessments (HAZID, HAZOP, FMEA, FTA).</li>
<li>Maintain hazard logs and risk registers, ensuring risks are mitigated to acceptable levels (ALARP).</li>
<li>Lead system safety integration across disciplines to ensure seamless, safe operation.</li>
</ul>
<div><b>Construction, Testing &amp; Commissioning Safety</b></div>
<ul>
<li>Ensure safety assurance during construction activities, including temporary works and staging of railway possessions.</li>
<li>Support safe integration of assets during testing, commissioning, and handover to operations.</li>
<li>Conduct safety audits, inspections, and readiness reviews before critical project milestones.</li>

<div><b>Regulatory &amp; Stakeholder Engagement</b></div>

<li>Act as the primary interface with safety regulators, independent safety assessors (ISA), and railway authorities.</li>
<li>Ensure all approvals and safety certifications are obtained for system commissioning.</li>
<li>Provide technical reports and evidence to demonstrate compliance with statutory and contractual safety obligations.</li>

<ul><li>Demonstrated expertise in system safety standards (EN 50126/8/9, IEC 61508, CSM-RA).</li></ul>
<ul><li>Proven track record in developing Safety Cases, hazard logs, and assurance documentation on major rail projects.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Experience in design &amp; build contracts, ideally in complex, multi-disciplinary rail infrastructure projects.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Strong technical knowledge of railway systems and interfaces.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Excellent understanding of system safety, RAMS, and assurance methodologies.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Skilled in risk assessment, hazard analysis, and problem-solving.</li></ul>
