The Opportunity<div> 
The Legal Support Assistant performs a variety of secretarial and/or administrative duties for assigned attorneys working in a fast paced Labor &amp; Employment practice. This position interacts with colleagues in a team setting and upholds the image of the Firm by maintaining positive contact with clients, attorneys and staff, and observing confidentiality of client matters.</div> 
 
The Day-To-Day<div> 
On any given day, you will:</div><ul><li>
Draft, input, revise and finalize routine correspondence, memoranda and other legal documents.</li><li>
Proofread documents and check for appropriate formatting, spelling, grammar and context.</li><li>
Verify all attachments, exhibits and enclosures are included with transmittal letters/memos.</li><li>
Complete client/matter forms, request conflicts of interest checks, open new files and maintain all client and general files.</li><li>
Manage multiple partner level attorneys and associates. Maintain and support complex partner level and attorney and team calendars and schedules. Coordinate and manage depositions, mediations, client meetings, team meeting schedules and calls.</li><li>
Maintain client contact information.</li><li>
Maintain electronic client and general files. Review incoming mail, ensure client documents and emails are properly uploaded and filed to the DMS system, Kiteworks, Seyfarth Link, etc.</li><li>
Prepare documents and packages for mail, messenger, and overnight delivery</li><li>
Enter attorney time and send time entry reminders</li><li>
Coordinate and follow through on requests and projects with other support departments (e.g. word processing, receptionists, assist with client billing, records clerks, office services, conflicts department, finance, etc.)</li><li>
Prepare and process expense reports, and vendor invoices in Chrome River.</li><li>
Schedule attorney appointments/client meetings, prepare agendas, coordinate conferences and travel arrangements.</li><li>
Complete other duties and projects as assigned.</li></ul>
 
You Have 
<ul><li>
A minimum of 5 years of legal assistant experience.</li><li>
Strong proofreading skills, attention to detail and solid grammar/spelling skills.</li><li>
High degree of proficiency with Microsoft programs (Word, Outlook, Excel).</li><li>
Legal citation and legal terminology expertise.</li><li>
Familiarity with Carpe Diem, Elite, iManage, Chrome River, Forte or similar technology.</li><li>
The ability to organize, prioritize and meet the demands of multiple attorney assignments.</li><li>
Flexibility to work overtime occasionally.</li><li>

 REQUIRED JOB FUNCTIONS
 
 
 
 
 The Legal Practice Assistant must be proficient in the following:

 eceive assignments from partners, associates, and lawyers and perform tasks as requested; update requestor regarding receipt and status of tasks/projects, and consistently meet agreed upon deadlines.

Your Role: The Legal Operations Analyst I supports the day‑to‑day efficiency of the Claims Law Office and Corporate Law teams. This role works independently to manage and analyze litigation operations, e‑billing, records management, and legal technology initiatives. Building on the Legal Operations Specialist role, the Analyst takes on more complex analysis, drives process improvements, and partners cross‑functionally. The position may also serve as a team lead and requires strong judgment, discretion, and advanced analytical skills.
Your Work:
<ul><li>Lead or assist in the implementation of new systems and tools to support evolving legal processes.</li><li>

Maintain updated eBilling-related information on company and/or division intranet sties for others to reference as appropriate.</li><li>
Ensure compliance with corporate billing guidelines and outside counsel engagement terms.</li></ul>
Required Experience, Education and Skills<ul><li>
Associate degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field</li><li>
2 years of experience in legal operations, business analysis, legal administration or comparable experience</li><li>
Experience with and strong understanding of legal and insurance terminology and concepts</li><li>
Familiar with the civil litigation lifecycle and principles and practices of legal document processing, filing and recordkeeping</li><li>
