 This role will be in our Data Infrastructure Legal team - a global team with colleagues currently based in LA, London, Sydney, Beijing and S&atilde;o Paulo. We also work closely with colleagues across the wider legal team, including privacy, security, corporate services and compliance.
 
 
 The team provides vital support for ByteDance&rsquo;s global digital infrastructure expansion outside of China (including for TikTok and our enterprise products businesses).  Responsibilities

CASES is a New York City agency at the forefront of the intersection between behavioral health and the criminal justice system. The CASES Court services department services facilitates court mandates or endorsed programming at all points in the criminal legal process. CASES operates alternative to detention (ATD) and alternative to incarceration (ATI) community based programs that are facilitated by the NYS Office of Court Administration (OCA) judiciary. CASES interfaces with multiple stakeholders to support these ATD and ATI program options for thousands of defendants in multiple boroughs. Specifically the arraignment team screens approximately 10,000 defendants per year for ATD and ATI programs, Supervised Release and newSTART. Additionally, the ATI intake assessment team screens 500 amount per year to divert people into 3 (three) CASES community based programs, Reframing Opportunity Alternatives and Resilience (ROAR), Nathaniel Community Success (NCS) and Nathaniel Assertive Community Treatment (NACT). All Court services teams are dedicated to the CASES mission, facilitating release and positive court outcomes.

Shift Hours: This position is part-time Monday 11am-9pm, Wednesday 11am-9pm, and Friday 11am-7pm

 We&rsquo;re supporting a leading global energy company in the search for a Legal Counsel to join their growing in-house team, advising on construction, procurement, and operations matters across large-scale renewable and infrastructure projects.
 
 
 
 
 
 This is a key hire within a high performing legal function that partners closely with project delivery, engineering, procurement, and operations teams.

 The Opportunity
 
 
 
 You&rsquo;ll provide legal support across the full lifecycle of energy and infrastructure projects, from procurement through construction and into operations. Working alongside project managers and senior stakeholders, you&rsquo;ll help structure and negotiate major commercial contracts that underpin the delivery of multi-billion-dollar assets.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Draft and negotiate major EPC, BOP, and supply agreements, as well as long-term service and logistics contracts
 </li>
 <li>
 Advise on procurement strategies, risk allocation, and project delivery across wind, solar, and battery storage portfolios
 </li>
 <li>
 Support cross-functional teams in construction, operations, and procurement on day-to-day contractual and commercial issues
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate with external counsel on specialist matters (litigation, tax, insurance)
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain and improve contract templates and playbooks for consistency and efficiency
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 About You
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 JD (or equivalent) and licensed (or eligible) to practice in Texas or New York
 </li>
 <li>
 5+ years&rsquo; experience in front-end construction, infrastructure, or procurement law (law firm or in-house)
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills, ideally with exposure to EPC or major project agreements
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent commercial judgment and ability to balance risk with business objectives
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborative, pragmatic, and solutions-oriented
 </li>
