Position Summary

The Loss Prevention &amp; Safety Specialist is responsible for protecting company assets, reducing risk, and supporting safe, compliant store operations across all AQL locations.

This role partners closely with Regional Managers, store leadership, HR, and Operations to identify issues, conduct investigations, and implement practical solutions related to cash handling, safety, and policy compliance. Experience with California workplace and compliance practices is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

Loss Prevention (Security) Officer
 
Overview
 This team member will ensure the safety and tranquil stay of resort guests and employees, to enforce the policies and procedures of the hotel and to record in writing any assigned task. Prepare incident and accident reports accurately and in the format specified by the Director of Loss Prevention.
 
Responsibilities
 <ul>
<li>Patrol hotel property to ensure the safety of guests and employees and to protect all hotel assets.</li>
<li>Answer house calls to assist both guests and associates with respect to safety, security and hotel operations.</li>
<li>Initiate and follow-up with all investigations of crimes committed against property and persons.</li>
<li>Assist sick/injured guests or associates ensuring all documentation, reporting and witness statements have been completed within a timely manner.</li>
<li>Initiate investigations, write incident and accident reports, monitor investigations to their timely conclusion and ensure appropriate follow-up with guests, visitors and employees, documenting all contacts.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate records while performing basic duties including, but not limited to, camera monitoring, shift activity log, codebook and employee/guest interactions.</li>
<li>Monitor/distribute visitor and vender access to the property by distributing visitor badges.</li>

CAVA: Crew Member - Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport

<div>Position Purpose:
As a member of the Central Investigation Team (CIT), the Central Investigator is responsible for the direction and support of Organized Retail Fraud (ORC) investigations theft and fraud investigations within a specified area of the company. The CIT will work with various business partners (IT, Internal Audit, RDO's, DOM's, Store Ops, APM's and APS') and leverage all available investigative tools to eliminate and reduce company exposure to associate and external theft. Key responsibilities include: analyzing information, determination of exception data to drive investigation, communication and coordination of information to field teams and other partners and management of the investigative process. Coordination with law enforcement to ensure effective prosecution and restitution recovery The Central Investigator will collaborate, coordination with IT to develop new exception data, management of remote CCTV viewing to support investigative efforts, and case trend analysis to drive performance and to make recommendations to mitigate theft exposure. The CIT must be able to manage multiple tasks and to gain buy in and support of multiple partners to ensure a successful investigation process within their area of responsibility. The CIT must be effective at training and coaching, as they will support the field in understanding development of the investigative skill sets theft exposures within their area of responsibility. The CIT must have strong analytical and problem solving skills, as they will make recommendations to business partners for the elimination of procedural/policy issues that increase theft exposure.
