The position is 7A-7p, 3 days a week, Monday - Friday. No weekends or major holidays.
Cardiac Techs help aid the RNs throughout the prep and recovery of our Cardiac Catheterization, Electrophysiology, and Cardiac OR patients. In our department we prep and recover 40 - 60 patients a day. In the recovery area, the cardiac techs are trained to settle patients in the room postoperatively (hooking to the monitor, cleaning, repositioning); obtain EKGs or any specimens ordered; remove arterial and venous sheaths from the femoral, radial and brachial sites; help patients that are on bedrest with eating, toileting, or any other request per the patient; and transporting patients to their inpatient room or assisting in the discharge process. This job does require the capabilities to lift, push, pull, and standing for long periods of time.

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Fostering positive and collaborative relationships with community residents, local nonprofit organizations, faith-based organizations, businesses, and student organizations to facilitate health fair and health screening sites for the CEL department and all its initiatives by posting, managing and promoting the events on EVMS Engage (GivePulse), send invites and follow-ups, communicate with registrants, attendings/nurses and CEL office in a timely manner. Attending the events and assisting with onsite set-up and take-down.</li><li>
Conducting training for students and volunteers on program/stakeholder/initiative requirements as well as coordinating and executing key community engagement events, i.e. screening events, health fairs, stakeholder engagement activities, service days, and community volunteer recognition events for CEL.</li><li>
Manage, track and order supplies and settle invoices via AP. Requirements

Basic Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree //OR// 4 years of equivalent experience.</li>
<li>Demonstrated proficiency in at least one of the following tools: Power Query, Power Pivot, Power BI, Python, SQL, VBA, Databricks, UiPath, or SAS.</li>
<li>Experience building automated financial reporting solutions or data pipelines in a government or enterprise environment.</li>
<li>Minimum of 2 years of related accounting, budget, or financial management experience.</li>
<li>Ability to pass a federal background investigation including fingerprinting.</li>
<li>Must be able to pass a Tier 1 federal investigation.</li>
<li>Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.</li>
<li>Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications.</li>
<li>Outstanding communication skills, influencing abilities, and client focus.</li>
<li>Professional proficiency in English is required.</li>
<li>Must be a U.S. Citizen.</li>
<li>Ability to access federal facilities in compliance with Real ID. Preferred Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Current, active Public Trust.</li>
<li>Experience in one or more of the following areas: PPBE cycle; budget formulation, execution and/or financial management, particularly in a DoW organization, especially the U.S. Navy.</li>
<li>Experience with Navy ERP configuration or data management in FA, FM, or PS modules. Proven track record building automated financial reports or dashboards delivered to government clients (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar).</li>
<li>Experience writing SQL queries or Python scripts for financial data extraction, transformation, or analysis.</li>
