What the role entails: 
The Marketing Coordinator will assist with the development and execution of a wide range of marketing and business development initiatives, including events, communications, and client development. The ideal candidate will have a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset along with exceptional writing and research skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to see projects through to completion in a fast-paced environment.
You&rsquo;ll report to the Chief Marketing &amp; Business Development Officer, work closely with other members of the marketing team, and interact regularly with attorneys and across other departments in the firm.
Key responsibilities:<ul><li>
Coordinate events, speaking engagements, conferences, and sponsorships.</li><li>
Assemble brochures and pitch books and prepare PowerPoint presentations.</li><li>
Write and edit content, including associate bios and social media posts.</li><li>
Coordinate approvals and publish content.</li><li>
Assist with the content management of the firm&rsquo;s web site, including posting and updating content.</li><li>
Create and distribute branded email communications.</li><li>
Conduct market research in preparation for client and prospect meetings, pitches, and other business development initiatives.</li><li>
Assist with preparing submissions for legal directories, awards, and industry recognitions.</li><li>
Assist with editing videos and podcasts.</li><li>
Develop graphics for email and social banners, invitations, video thumbnails, etc.</li><li>
Oversee firm-branded merchandise&mdash;selection, ordering, and inventory.</li><li>
Own processes that support headshot scheduling and workflows, business card creation, and department expense processing.</li><li>
Help maintain CRM data, including creating and updating contact lists and researching contact data.</li><li>
Maintain and update client records within our experience tracker.</li><li>
Monitor shared inboxes and respond proactively to inquiries.</li><li>
Provide general support for the marketing team as the firm continues to grow.</li></ul>
Qualifications and skills:<ul><li>
Three years of experience in marketing/business development, preferably at a law firm or other professional services firm</li><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree, ideally in marketing, communications, journalism or related field</li><li>
Proactive, self-starter with an ability to own projects from start to finish</li><li>
Highly organized and detail oriented</li><li>

Compensation &amp; benefits: 
The good faith base annual salary range for this position is a minimum $55,000 to a maximum of $85,000. The actual salary rate offered to candidates within that range will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, years of relevant experience, applicable education/certification(s), office location, and the candidate's overall qualifications for the position as assessed by the Firm. Market and Firm factors are also considered.

Business Development Planning and Strategy</div><div><ul><li>
Assist the Business Development team in developing and executing on practice group business plans.</li><li>
Support Business Development team with execution of activities aligned with individual attorney business plans.</li><li>
Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and issues that may impact clients&rsquo; and prospects&rsquo; businesses and recommend actions to capitalize on them.</li><li>
