A Senior Wastewater Operations Traveling Technician(SWOT) will be trained to operate and<br>
maintain wastewater plants at several locations around the country. The purpose of the<br>

The SWOT will be responsible for the overall operation and maintenance of the wastewater plants they visit, including process changes to meet compliance, troubleshooting processes &amp; equipment, operational management, maintenance (routine, reactive, and preventive), process &amp; compliance sampling, laboratory testing, and writing and distributing a daily shift report. In addition, the Senior Wastewater Operations Traveling Technicians will assist with the startup of new wastewater operating contracts until full-time local operators are hired The SWOT will be responsible for training the newly hired operator(s). The SWOT will communicate with the client and with Veolia&rsquo;s Account Manager regarding the operation during their time at the facility. The SWOT will be required to travel and be away from home for extended periods of time - this can range from 1-2 weeks at a time, all the way up to 1 or more months for certain projects.</p><p>

Experience
<br>1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician in a substantial hospital pharmacy environment with IV Admixture assignments -OR- Successful completion of the CHOA IV Admixture certification training program, with &gt; 9 months documented proficiency in the area.

Preferred Qualifications
<br>A national technician certification or 2 year college degree is preferred.

Job Responsibilities
<br><br>
Processes medication orders and dispenses medications under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure safe and appropriate provision of medications to patients.
<br>Fills all physician orders accurately and efficiently and obtains a pharmacist check prior to all dispensing.
<br>Consistently fills all medication stock orders ( i.e. Urgent Care, Specialty Care Centers, ancillary nursing units, Omnicell, floor stock, Anesthesia and Operating room code trays, etc.) completely and accurately, obtains a pharmacist check prior to dispensing.
<br><br>
Assists pharmacists by anticipating and prioritizing the workload accurately and efficiently.
<br>Organizes and prioritizes phone calls, window traffic and work load effectively and keeps the pharmacist informed.
<br>Maintains a smooth work flow in area by utilizing problem-solving skills.
<br><br>
Distributes medications in a timely manner.
<br>Distributes medications to nursing units.
<br>Utilizes discharge and transfer reports as directed.
<br>Prioritizes orders such as Now/Stat, ASAP and routine to assure appropriate turnaround time.
<br><br>
Prepares and compounds all medications using proper techniques.
<br>Accurately prepares and compounds all medications.
<br>Prepares products cost-effectively and minimizes waste.
<br>Properly logs all medications.
<br><br>
Maintains adequate supplies of all stock items in a clean and organized environment.
<br>Maintains adequate par levels of supplies and documents needed medications on the “Want Book”. Follows up with the next shift on any outstanding medication needs.
<br>Prepares and maintains adequate supply of stock solutions.
<br>Maintains par levels of assigned prepackaged medications.
<br>Restocks area at end of shift to assure adequate supplies for the next shift.
<br>Checks assigned stock sections of the pharmacy monthly for expired medications, pulls expired medications and flags medications that will expire within the next 3 months. Documents when complete.
<br>Maintains an organized and clean environment.
<br><br>
Completes and maintains pharmacy records.
<br>Documents all assigned QA responsibilities (e.g. hood cleaning, refrigerator temp, and area of inspection).

SUVs, cars, sedans, and minivans do NOT qualify.
