Document all clinical observations, findings, and services provided in the patient&rsquo;s electronic health record (eCW).  Obtain and document all vital signs including height, weight, blood pressure, temperature, respiration, pulse, pain assessment, body mass index (BMI), and last menstrual period (LMP). Assist patients in completing assessment forms including, but not limited to, Consents, Depression (PHQ), Functional Assessment and Patient Education Tool, as per Center protocols.

 Administer and appropriately document the following tests/procedures/treatments as ordered by providers: EKGs, Waived Testing, and Phlebotomy, according to Center protocol. Assessments in other clinical areas may include: bone density and audio/visual screening. Assist with examinations and procedures (i.e. colposcopy, pelvic exam, urinary catheterization, endometrial biopsies, LEEP, IUD insertions, etc), as needed and as per nursing standards and Center protocols.
 </li>
 <li>
 Demonstrate proper use of assisted devices including walkers, canes and crutches; escorting patients when necessary.
 </li>
 <li>
 Responsible for retrieving appropriate laboratory, diagnostic and radiology reports as requested.
 </li>
 <li>
 Responsible for providing patients with appropriate containers and verbal and/or written instructions regarding the collection of laboratory specimens such as spectrum, urine and stool, either in the Center or at home, and the subsequent delivery of same: label laboratory cultures and submit to the laboratory in a daily basis.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist in transporting paperwork, specimens and materials to and from areas when appropriate.
 </li>
 <li>
 Review Telephone Encounter (eCW) daily for follow-up procedures for Labs and send Urgent Lab Recall and Missed Appointment letters, as required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Responsible for notifying Clinical Unit Coordinator of supply shortages in a timely manner.
 </li>
 <li>
 Immediately inform supervisor about any equipment malfunctioning.
 </li>
 <li>
 Responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, sterilization and maintaining clinical equipment and medical instruments as per protocol.
 </li>
 <li>
 Responsible for preparing and organizing the supplies in the examination rooms. This includes preparing examination table; ensuring that supplies are not expired and are maintained in an organized manner in cabinets; ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are readily available for the practitioner&rsquo;s use; and informing the Unit Coordinator of the supplies to be orders in a timely manner.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain refrigerator, freezer and ambient room temperature logs and waived test logs in a daily basis.
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform Medical Assistant duties in accordance with the current Joint Commission&rsquo;s Nation Patient Safety Goals.
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform Medical Assistant duties when assigned to other clinical areas.
 </li>
 <li>
 Communicate with clinical, clerical, and managerial staff to provide continuity of patient care.
 </li>
 <li>
 Practice accepted infection control measures in accordance with OSHA Blood Bone Pathogens Standards, and Center policies and procedures.

 Role Purpose
 
 
 
 As an Operator at Neko Health, you&rsquo;ll be the welcoming face of our clinics and a key contributor to our preventive care model. You will guide members through their visit, perform high‑quality clinical assessments, and help maintain an exceptional, seamless member experience. This role blends clinical skill, hospitality, precision, and teamwork and is ideal for individuals energized by patient interaction and excited about innovative health technology.
 
 
 
 What You&rsquo;ll Deliver in the First 6&ndash;12 Months:

 Create a warm, calm, and professional clinic experience by welcoming, assisting, and guiding members throughout their visit &mdash; ensuring every interaction reflects a member‑first mindset. (Member First, Always)

 Perform accurate, high‑quality clinical assessments including vital signs, grip strength, eye pressure, ECGs, point‑of‑care tests, and phlebotomy, following established standards and protocols. (Impact Not Performance)

 Maintain exam rooms and uphold infection‑control standards to ensure a safe, clean, and efficient clinical environment at all times. (Human After All)

 Document assessments accurately and update patient records with precision, supporting continuity of care across the clinical team. (One Team, One Body)

 <li>
 Contribute to continuous improvements by working closely with fellow Operators and clinical staff to refine workflows, elevate quality, and support clinic operations as Neko scales. (Chase 10X, Not 10%)
 
 
 </li>

 Minimum Qualifications

 1+ years of experience in a healthcare or hospitality setting.
 </li>
 <li>
 Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong customer‑service orientation with a compassionate, patient‑first mindset.
 </li>

 High attention to detail and comfort working with new technology.

 Role Summary
 
 
 Our Medical Assistants engage with our patients day-in and out and they are vital to the patient experience. They are caring, compassionate, and work well together as a team. They work closely with our Physicians to provide exceptional patient care.
 
 
 Some day-to-day duties include:

 This is a full-time, 5 day a week, 8 hour shift non-exempt onsite position that requires early hours, rotational weekends and holidays.
 
 
 
 Compensation
 
 
 
 The salary range for this role is $24-28/hr. Salary is based on several factors including job related knowledge and skill set, depth of experience, certifications and/or degrees.
