Position Overview:</b></p><p>
Majestic Care Nurses render skilled technical nursing services to residents within an assigned unit/wing in support of medical care as directed by the nursing management team; supervises CNAs to ensure a high quality of care is provided to all residents in that unit.</p><p></p><p><b><br>
Key Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li><p>
Initiate and lead team conferences in development of individualized nursing care plans.</p></li><li><p>
Assess and document the residents&rsquo; condition and nursing needs.</p></li><li><p>
Accurately and promptly implement physicians&rsquo; orders.</p></li><li><p>
Administer medications, start IVs, and perform treatments for assigned residents and document that treatment as required by Majestic Care and local, state, and federal rules and regulations.</p></li><li><p>
Participate in orientation and in-service training for personnel.</p></li><li><p>
Assist physicians with special tests and procedures within the scope of state specified Nursing Practice Act.</p></li><li><p>
Report and record pertinent observations and reactions regarding residents.</p></li><li><p>
Coordinate nursing care of residents when scheduled for therapy or procedures by other departments.</p></li><li><p>
Assist with or institute emergency measures for sudden adverse developments in residents.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><br>
Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li><p>
Graduate of accredited school of nursing.</p></li><li><p>
Licensed as an RN in the state employed; license must be active, valid, and in good standing.</p></li><li><p>
Valid CPR teaching certificate preferred but not required.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><br>
