Key Responsibilities</b></h3>
<ul><li>Lead and develop a team of payroll specialists responsible for processing payroll across multiple clients and pay schedules.</li>
<li>Ensure accurate, timely payroll processing and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.</li>
<li>Serve as an escalation point for complex payroll issues and client questions.</li>
<li>Partner with client service, HR, benefits, and accounting teams to ensure a seamless client experience.</li>
<li>Maintain strong internal controls related to payroll processing, funding, and payroll tax compliance.</li>
<li>Drive operational improvements and help implement best practices across payroll operations.</li>
<li>Support system utilization and reporting within payroll and CRM platforms.</li>
</ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Qualifications</b></h3>
<ul><li>5+ years of payroll experience, preferably in a <b>PEO, multi-client payroll environment, or high-volume payroll operation</b>
</li><li>2+ years of leadership or team management experience</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and payroll tax fundamentals</li>
<li>Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability</li>
<li>Strong communication and client service skills</li>
<li>Experience with HRIS/payroll systems and Microsoft Office</li>
</ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Preferred</b></h3>
<ul><li>Professional Employer Organization (PEO) experience</li>
<li>Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification</li>
