RESPONSIBILITIES</p><ul><li>
Conduct intake procedures with assigned residents (e.g., review BOP regulations, Agency/program policies, rules &amp; regulations regarding employment, privileges, contraband, conduct).</li><li>

Work with appropriate HR resources to determine and implement solutions that address non-routine HR problems promptly.</li><li>
Support faculty and staff supervisors in human resources administration: e.g. help develop staffing and personnel management plans, consult on hiring issues, assist with performance management issues and disciplinary actions, oversee salary planning.</li><li>
Ensure human resources activities are carried out consistent with university personnel policies, e.g. goal setting and performance reviews, payroll actions, visa applications, time and attendance recording, onboarding, etc.</li></ul><p></p><p><i><br>

Establishing and enforcing OR scheduling policies and procedures, in consultation with perioperative, financial clearance, and QI leaders.</li><li>
OR capacity planning, utilization performance review, and block template assignment decision-making in consultation with JHH-Wilmer and JHSCS leaders.</li><li>
Quality assurance and monitoring of performance and compliance standards across all Wilmer and OR sites of service.</li><li>
Primary resolution of cross-site scheduler resource needs, questions, any competing OR scheduling requests, and local hiring needs requests.</li><li>
Preparing monthly surgical volume/labor reconciliation reports for Wilmer Finance based on scheduling staff completed case activity across the network.</li><li>
Engagement with physician leaders, attending and assistant surgeons to resolve issues, improve performance, and implement new protocols.</li><li>
Collaboration with Epic-OpTime developers and superusers to make ongoing improvements to case request orders (CROs) and other surgical workflows, based on surgeon and scheduler stakeholder feedback.</li><li>
Identifying and acting on opportunities for lean process improvement, standardization, shared staffing models, and more centralized governance.</li></ul><br>

Minimum Qualifications</b><br>
<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field.</li><li>
Four years of progressively responsible professional-level administrative or financial experience related to monetary or non-monetary resources of a center or unit within an academic, research, academic medicine, or comparable environment, e.g., planning, directing, monitoring, organizing, and controlling monetary and non-monetary resources.</li><li>
Additional education may substitute for required experience and additional related experience may substitute for required education beyond a high school diploma/graduation equivalent, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.</li></ul><br>
