Job Summary and Qualifications</b></h5><p>
Under the general supervision of the Coordinator of the Cardiovascular Laboratory, the Echo/Vascular Tech provides general echocardiographic services and is responsible for the provision of diagnostic vascular flow procedures to patients according to physicians' orders and established Departmental and Hospital standards of care.</p><h6 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
What you will do in this role:</b></h6><p></p><ul><li>
Assists in data collection for statistical
</li><li>surveys or other reports generated by the Department.
</li><li>Participates in quality control and performance improvement activities within the
</li><li>Department.
</li><li>Maintains high degree of competence in the operation of all equipment in the Department
</li><li>to include trouble-shooting and minor repair</li><li>
Assists with the provision of all echo cardio graphic services in the Department.
</li><li>Facilitates communication between the Cardiovascular Laboratory and members of the Medical Staff and other Hospital departments to enhance patient care services.
</li><li>Coordinates echocardiographic service scheduling with applicable Hospital departments and Medical Staff for maximum utilization of resources and maintenance of quality care.
</li><li>Participate in on-call coverage to provide continuity of service.
</li><li>Performs other related duties assigned by the Coordinator of the Cardiovascular Laboratory.</li></ul><p></p><p>
