 The Staff Supply Chain Specialist will be responsible for the acquisition of materials, equipment, and services focusing on contract negotiations and material cost reductions. They will manage the supplier/contractor qualification and selection process by interfacing directly with internal customer(s).  Louisiana LNG is located approximately 11 miles southwest of Lake Charles, Louisiana.  Qualifications:

 Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree from accredited degree program in Engineering, Construction Management, Building Construction, Supply Chain, or related field, with minimum of 1 year of related experience or equivalent combination of education, training and experience

 Familiar with wide range of construction products (e.g., Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical)
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiar with engineering principles and techniques, scheduling, estimating, purchasing, and basic understanding of construction accounting procedures
 </li>

 Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedule
 </li>

 Basic knowledge of estimating documents and ability to provide accurate qualitative and quantitative analysis of documents
