SUMMARY</p><p>
The Senior Procurement Specialist is responsible for conducting the purchasing and/or contracting process for major equipment (racking systems, inverters, energy storage systems, electrical balance of system, etc.) or subcontractors/service providers (engineering, civil, mechanical, electrical, substation, etc.) from RFP to purchase order/contract execution, identifying new vendors and emerging technologies, maintaining a database of current vendors, supporting the pre-qualification process and monitoring vendor performance. Works closely with key vendors that support the overall strategic objectives of the organization and ensure reliable support and supply of materials to projects. May be assigned other tasks as needed. This position reports to the Director of Procurement, or another management personnel that the CEO of the Company may designate. Position Summary</b></h1><p>
Accounts Payable Specialist will perform a variety of clerical tasks related to the maintenance/processing of accounts payable, as well as perform various duties and special projects in the Accounting Department as needed.</p><h1 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Key Responsibilities</b></h1><ul><li>
Communicate professionally and effectively with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal personnel.</li><li>
Apply strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to support project efficiency.
</li><li>Date stamp, review, and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness.</li><li>
Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation.</li><li>
Route invoices for proper approval and ensure timely processing.</li><li>
Validate tax jurisdiction details and apply accruals when necessary.</li><li>
Code non-PO invoices and expense reports appropriately.</li><li>
Enter invoices, process weekly check runs, and maintain accurate filing systems.</li><li>
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies with vendors and procurement.</li><li>
Maintain purchase order files, support employee-related inquiries, and perform additional accounting duties as assigned.</li></ul><h1 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Qualifications
</b></h1><p><b>Education
</b></p><ul><li>High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)</li><li>
Equivalent combination of technical training and/or related experience with exposure to accounting principles (Preferred)</li><li>
Valid state-issued driver's license (Required)</li></ul><p><b>
Experience</b></p><ul><li>
2+ years of experience in accounting (Required)</li><li>
Prior work experience involving AP or accounting function in construction or business office (Preferred)</li><li>
Prior work experience using computerized accounting system (Preferred)</li><li>
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of sometimes stressful situations (Required)</li></ul><p><b>
Skills &amp; Competencies</b></p><ul><li>
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel</li><li>
Strong attention to detail with the ability to review work for accuracy, organization, and compliance with policies and procedures</li><li>

  Accounts Payable &amp; Invoice Processing
 </p>
 <ul>

   Process high volumes of vendor invoices with accuracy and timeliness
  </li>

   Perform 2-way and 3-way matching (PO, receipt, invoice)
  </li>
  <li>
   Ensure proper coding of invoices to the general ledger and cost centers
  </li>
  <li>
   Review and resolve invoice discrepancies in collaboration with internal stakeholders
  </li>

   Prepare and process weekly payment runs (ACH, wire, check)

   Assist with month-end close activities, including AP accruals

   Reconcile vendor statements and investigate discrepancies

  Cross-Functional Support
 </p>

   Partner with Procurement, Operations, and Finance teams to ensure smooth invoice flow
  </li>

   Assist with process improvements and documentation of AP procedures

   Support audits by providing documentation and responding to requests
  </li>

   Experience
  </strong>

   2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting
  </li>
  <li>
   Experience working in a high-volume, multi-entity environment preferred
  </li>

   Strong understanding of invoice processing, GL coding, and reconciliations
  </li>
  <li>
   Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics GP, SAP, or similar)
  </li>
  <li>
   Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups preferred)
  </li>
  <li>
   Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  </li>
  <li>
   Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  </li>

   Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
