The Product Development- Service Design &amp; Technology Lead supports the Product Development &amp; Customer Experience (PD&amp;CX) team in improving the onboard, in‑station, and lounge experience for Amtrak customers. <p><b>The work:</b><br>
The Senior Business Analyst will lead requirements gathering, analysis, and business process definition for transforming legacy applications into modern web-based platforms hosted in the AWS cloud. Serving as the key liaison between meteorologists, operational end users, and the technical development team, this role ensures that new web applications support the complex needs of weather forecasting operations while enabling the benefits of cloud-native technology.</p>
<p>
Key Responsibilities:</p>
<ul>
<li>Conduct in-depth analysis of current applications to document functionality, workflows, and user needs.</li>
<li>Lead requirements gathering sessions with meteorologists, forecasters, and additional stakeholders.</li>
<li>Develop detailed functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for web-based applications.</li>
<li>Create process flows, use cases, and user journey maps to represent complex meteorological workflows.</li>
<li>Analyze the operational impact of transitioning from desktop to web applications.</li>
<li>Identify opportunities for workflow improvements and enhanced functionality in the modernized applications.</li>
<li>Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure interfaces meet operational and meteorological requirements.</li>
<li>Translate business requirements into technical specifications for development teams.</li>
<li>Validate delivered functionality through testing, user acceptance sessions, and requirement verification.</li>
<li>Develop training materials and end-user documentation.</li>
<li>Maintain requirements traceability matrices and other documentation artifacts.</li>
<li>Facilitate prioritization of features and requirements with stakeholders.</li>
<li>Document integration requirements with related applications and external systems.</li>
<li>Support change management efforts associated with the transition to cloud-based web applications.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Here's what you need:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Meteorology, or a related field.</li>
<li>5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting software application development.</li>
<li>Strong skills in requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.</li>
<li>Experience with business process modeling and workflow analysis.</li>
<li>Proficiency with requirements management tools and methodologies.</li>
<li>Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.</li>
<li>Experience working closely with technical software development teams.</li>
<li>Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.</li>
<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.</li>
<li>Experience using Generative AI tools to accelerate development tasks, including prompt engineering and reviewing AI-generated content.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Bonus Points if you have:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Meteorology background or experience with meteorological or scientific systems.</li>
<li>Master's degree in a relevant field.</li>
<li>Knowledge of weather forecasting operations and related workflows.</li>
<li>Experience transitioning desktop applications to modern web platforms.</li>
<li>Understanding of cloud computing concepts, particularly AWS.</li>
<li>Experience supporting government or mission‑critical systems.</li>
<li>Familiarity with scientific or geospatial data visualization requirements.</li>

Ensure the day-to-day implementation, oversight, continuous monitoring, and maintenance of the security configuration, practices, and procedures for each IS</li><li>

Ensure that selected security controls are implemented and operating as intended during all phases of the IS lifecycle. Ensure that system security documentation is developed, maintained, reviewed, and updated on a continuous basis</li><li>
Conduct required IS vulnerability scans according to risk assessment parameters. Coordinate system owner concurrence for correction or mitigation actions.</li><li>
Develop Plan of Action and Milestones (POAMs) in response to reported security vulnerabilities. Manage the risks to ISs and other FBI assets by coordinating appropriate correction or mitigation actions, and oversee and track the timely completion of (POAMs)</li><li>
Monitor security controls for FBI ISs to maintain security Authorized to Operate (ATO). Upload all security control evidence to the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) application to support security control implementation during the monitoring phase</li><li>
Ensure that changes to an FBI IS, its environment, and/or operational needs that may affect the authorization status are reported to the system owner and IS Security Manager (ISSM). Ensure the removal and retirement of ISs being decommissioned in coordination with the system owner, ISSM, and ISSR</li></ul><p></p><p><b>
Minimum Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>
At least seven years' experience as an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) or similar role at a cleared facility</li><li>
At least eight years&rsquo; experience working in the Information Technology sector with a bachelor's degree, 6 years with master's degree, 10 years with associates OR 12 years with high school diploma.</li><li>
Hold at least one of the following certifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Global Information Security Professional (GISP), or the CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP), Certified Information System Manager (CISM), or Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level II proficiency</li><li>
Hold at least one of the following certifications: AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Certified Security &ndash; Specialty, (ISC)2 Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), AWS Certified Solutions Architect &ndash; Associate, AZ-500: Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, Google - Professional Cloud Security Engineer.</li><li>
