<p>Reveal Design Group is an award-winning architectural lighting design firm based in Chelsea, NYC, specializing in boutique hospitality, restaurants, retail, cultural institutions, and high-end residential projects across the U.S. and internationally.</p><p>We're hiring a full-time Project Manager in our Procurement Department, the in-house team that ensures our lighting designs are built exactly as intended. Our Project Managers bid, purchase, coordinate, and deliver lighting equipment for the projects we design, working closely with our design studios and construction teams from proposal through final fixture aiming.</p><p><b>What This Role Looks Like</b></p><p>You'll read architectural drawings, perform quantity take-offs, build competitive proposals, manage submittals and ship schedules, place orders, coordinate with contractors and manufacturers, track budgets, and visit job sites. You are the person who makes sure hundreds of specified lighting fixtures arrive on time, get installed correctly, and look the way our designers envisioned.</p><p>This is a building and construction coordination role with a deep technical product component. If you've managed complex builds, coordinated trades, called cues in a theater, estimated millwork packages, or run logistics for installations with many moving parts, you likely have transferable skills.</p><p><b>Ideal Previous Experience</b></p><ul><li>Theatrical production/stage management, technical direction, or assistant lighting design</li><li>Construction management, millwork estimation, or trade coordination</li><li>Interior design or architecture project management</li><li>Lighting showroom or manufacturer representative work</li><li>Any role combining technical product knowledge with complex logistics under deadline pressure</li></ul><p>A degree in architectural lighting, theatrical design, construction management, or a related field is a strong foundation, but we've seen people from a wide range of backgrounds succeed in this role.</p><p><b>Technical Skills</b></p><ul><li>Proficiency in Bluebeam, Adobe InDesign, and advanced Microsoft Excel</li><li>Ability to read and interpret architectural and electrical drawings</li><li>Database familiarity (Oasis sales software is a plus)</li><li>Familiarity with architectural lighting fixtures, electrical installation, or lighting controls is preferred but not required if you learn quickly</li></ul><p><b>Compensation &amp; Benefits</b></p><ul><li>Salary: $70,000&ndash;$80,000, commensurate with experience</li><li>20 days PTO per year (vacation and sick combined)</li><li>Summer Fridays (Memorial Day through Labor Day)</li><li>401(k) with 3% employer contribution</li><li>Subsidized medical, dental, and vision insurance</li><li>12 weeks paid parental leave</li></ul><p><b>Location:</b> Chelsea, Manhattan. Position Overview</b></p><p>
The Project Manager will lead and oversee the full lifecycle of cybersecurity initiatives under the NYC DOE Cybersecurity Operations and Risk Management (CSORM) project. This individual serves as the primary point of coordination between the vendor team and DOE leadership, ensuring all security deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and in alignment with DOE compliance standards. Two (2) Project Managers are required for this engagement. Work will be a hybrid schedule withe 3 days in the office and 2 days of telework.</p><p><b>
Key Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>
Serve as the lead Project Manager for enterprise cybersecurity and IT risk initiatives, owning end-to-end project delivery from initiation through closeout in large, regulated environments.</li><li>
Drive core project management functions including project planning, scope definition, scheduling, resource coordination, budget tracking, risk and issue management, and dependency oversight across multiple initiatives.</li><li>
Establish and manage project governance, ensuring adherence to CISO priorities, regulatory requirements, and NYCPS standards while maintaining clear documentation, controls, and delivery milestones.</li><li>
Coordinate and facilitate cross-functional execution, managing day-to-day collaboration between technical teams, business units, vendors, and senior leadership.</li><li>
Oversee the POA&amp;M lifecycle as a project deliverable, tracking remediation activities for internal systems and third-party vendors, managing timelines, and driving closure of security findings.</li><li>
Produce and deliver executive-ready project reporting, including status dashboards, risk and issue logs, dependency tracking, and escalation briefings for senior leadership.</li><li>
Submit weekly status reports and monthly steering committee reports covering accomplishments, upcoming activities, risk summaries, and milestone status.</li><li>
Ensure measurable project outcomes, driving accountability, resolving delivery blockers, and confirming that projects achieve defined cybersecurity, compliance, and risk-reduction objectives.</li></ul><p><b>
Minimum Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>
5+ years of experience in project management, with demonstrated success leading enterprise-level cybersecurity or IT risk programs.</li><li>
Strong leadership in project planning, resource allocation, risk mitigation, and budget management.</li><li>
Exceptional ability to drive collaboration between technical engineers and executive stakeholders.</li><li>
Experience managing POA&amp;M lifecycle for third-party and internal systems.</li><li>
Experience working within large public-sector or educational institution environments preferred.</li></ul><p><b>
