STIPEND POSITION OVERVIEW: </b>Behavioral Health Services (BPS School Psychology Department) has received a grant and seeks to develop a talent pool of interns working to complete their licensure in School Psychology, School Counseling and Social Work. This opportunity will occur weekly from August 18, 2026 to June 30, 2027. The number of working days a week will vary depending on the submitted intern application.</p><p></p><p><br>
Project PROVIDE: Partnership for Readiness to Offer high quality and Valuable Interventions in Diverse Educational Contexts, is a Mental Health Demonstration grant funded by the US Department of Education to Boston Public Schools in connection with multiple local Institutes of Higher Education. Project PROVIDE is a preparation program for school psychologists, school counselors, and social work professionals who (1) are knowledgeable of BPS, have built connections to the community of youth and providers in the district, and are on a pathway to employment and retention within the district (2) are prepared to provide evidence-based and culturally, linguistically, sustaining mental health services, and (3) are ready to build connections between schools and community mental health services.</p><p></p><p><b><br>
ELIGIBILITY</b></p><ul><li><i>
BPS employees </i>are not eligible if they continue to work as an employee during the school year that they choose to participate in Project PROVIDE.</li></ul><p><b>

Bureau/Division Overview</b></div><div>
The Criminal Investigations Bureau (CIB) is comprised of experienced investigators, attorneys, and support personnel that investigate violations of the Commonwealth&rsquo;s tax laws. On tobacco-related investigations, the CIB works closely with the Illegal Tobacco Task Force and with civil tobacco inspectors from the Department&rsquo;s Miscellaneous Excise Bureau. The mission of CIB is to preserve the integrity of the Commonwealth&rsquo;s tax system by investigating and seeking prosecution of tax-related crimes that will generate the maximum deterrent effect, enhance voluntary compliance, and promote public confidence in the tax system.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
Position Summary</b></div><div>
The Department seeks an Investigative Intern for its Criminal Investigations Bureau. The intern will assist Tax Fraud Investigators and other CIB personnel with investigations. This is a great opportunity to obtain hands-on investigative experience while also learning various facets of state tax law including, but not limited to: tax evasion, money laundering, and tobacco smuggling. The chance to assist with tobacco inspections in the field is also a possibility based on experience, interest, and availability. The Bureau works in a hybrid model (part remote and part in-office in Boston).</div><div></div><div><b><br>

Role Overview</b></p>
<p>
This role is designed for students who want hands-on experience building and validating software systems that operate at enterprise scale. As a Software Engineer in Test (Co-op/Intern), you will contribute directly to the reliability and performance of Nasuni's cloud file data platform used by global enterprises.</p>
<p>
This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy debugging, automation, and understanding how systems behave under load&mdash;not just writing code, but validating that it works at scale.</p>

Responsibilities</b></p>

<li>Develop and maintain Python-based automated test tools using pytest frameworks</li>
<li>Configure and operate Linux-based test environments, including VMs and clustered systems</li>
<li>Investigate tooling and test failures and assist in root cause analysis of defects</li>
<li>Participate in bug triage discussions, clearly documenting findings and reproduction steps</li>
<li>Contribute to CI/CD workflows by improving test reliability and execution efficiency</li>
