<div>At Houston Methodist, the Nurse Practitioner (NP) (ACLS) is responsible for functioning as a licensed registered nurse and care provider to provide all aspects of patient care, including diagnosis, treatment and consultation while maintaining and promoting the health of the patient. <div>The Patient Care Technician position on G17- Stem Cell Transplantation &amp; Cellular Therapy unit at MD Anderson Cancer Center provides patient care services as assigned by a registered nurse, and directly impacts patient comfort and outcome of care.<br>

Ideal candidate must have a high school diploma and either one year of recent experience in an acute care setting as a Nursing Assistant or a CNA certification.<br>

This unit offers 3-12/hour shifts working from 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am with rotating weekends and holidays. Weekends are considered Saturday and Sunday.<br>

The Inpatient Stem Cell Transplant &amp; Cellular Therapy unit is a 48 bed unit and is one of our designated immunotherapy floors, administering research protocols involving immunotherapy and CARTOX therapy to patients, including Phase 1 clinical trials. As such, our staff receive additional training to develop the skills needed to provide exceptional care to patients receiving this progressive therapy.<br>
