</h2>WSP is currently initiating a search for a Mechanical Engineer/ Junior PM for our New York, NY office. Be involved in projects with our Property and Buildings Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our clients' objectives and solves their challenges.
Provides technical assistance and guidance for due diligence, design, development, building, testing, and inspecting of mechanical systems on infrastructure, building, and construction projects in the public and private sector. Tasks may include assisting with the research, design, concept development, planning, installation, operation, maintenance, and optimal integration of automatic temperature control, air distribution, hydronic, and plumbing systems, equipment and processes. Generates accurate and concise reports and documentation regarding installation, construction, and operation specifications. </h2><ul><li>Collect, compile, and analyze data from the physical work site, surveys, blueprints, schematics, data, technical drawings, computer-generated reports, and other matrices for project development, design, and construction.
</li><li>Perform professional mechanical engineering work and conduct research and inspections of proposed and existing site conditions, equipment, resources, building, infrastructure, usage, and mechanical systems to determine conformance with applicable rules, standards, and construction or operating permits.
</li><li>Participate in incorporating advanced technology, modeling techniques, concept development, design requirements, load calculations, and operating strategies to account for the proper installation and functioning of equipment and systems according to specifications; implementing future-ready solutions with mechanical engineering design standards.
</li><li>Participate in verifying the characteristics of a site and providing technical assistance on various engineering, design, and construction issues relating to automatic temperature control systems and specifications, air distribution (supply, return, exhaust), hydronic systems (chilled water, heating water, etc.) and plumbing systems (domestic water, waste, vent, storm, etc.).
</li><li>Work as an individual or as part of a cross-functional team of engineers, planners, and scientific professionals to execute project work, assist with laying out installation of equipment, calculating costs and quantities of material/equipment/labor, and ensuring project work conforms with specifications, permit applications, schematics, compliance documentation, and regulatory and technical analysis memos.
</li><li>Prepare data and visualizations such as tables, charts, accurate reports, sketches, calculations, technical drawings, spreadsheets, and illustrations for the interpretation or presentation of data, findings, or analyses.
</li><li>Maintain quality control standards and procedures for accurate and precise measurements and calculations, statistical analysis, and reporting.
</li><li>Assist with development and scoping of small- to medium-sized projects.
</li><li>Contribute to the preparation of technical reports and presentations that explain research and findings to improve, prevent, control, restore, or address design and/or construction issues or problems.
</li><li>Conduct engineering studies and surveys to gain further information on a particular design and construction problem or issue and/or to plan for future needs.
</li><li>Assist in the analysis, evaluation, and interpretation of data obtained during field investigations, offering input with developing action plans for low to mid-level risk mitigation activities.
</li><li>Assist in the preparation and implementation of site Health and Safety Plans (HASPs).
</li><li>Work collaboratively with other engineers and planners on projects with building and infrastructure authorities on Federal, State, regional, and locally funded improvement and development projects.

</h2>Required Qualifications
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or closely related discipline.
</li><li>3 to 5 years of relevant post education experience in engineering discipline and prior mechanical design experience.
</li><li>Engineer in Training Certification.
</li><li>Knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, practices, process, design/build, and the application to project work-related issues.
</li><li>Experience with building and infrastructure planning, design, and construction management; including rehabilitation and new design.
</li><li>Ability to coordinate with agency regulators and understand requirements.
</li><li>Knowledge of relevant mechanical system and construction laws, codes, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements.

The NYU Acute Respiratory Failure and Sepsis Precision Interventions (ASPIRE) Trials Program seeks a full-time Research Data Associate to support several clinical studies. Our Trials Program conducts single- and multi-center clinical trials and cohort studies to advance understanding and improve care of patients with respiratory failure, pneumonia, and sepsis. The RDA will assist in the daily study-related activities of multiple studies and clinical trials involving patients in the ICUs and other inpatient units at NYU-affiliated hospitals. RDA must be comfortable working with critically ill adult patients on life support, the population of interest for most of the studies, and interacting with their family members. RDA must demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively within a multiprofessional team that includes physicians, pharmacists, nurses, respiratory therapists, and research staff. Strong organizational skills, adaptability, and professionalism are essential to foster collaboration and ensure efficient trial operations. The ability to actively listen, resolve conflicts constructively, and contribute to shared decision-making will be critical to success in this role. 


Job Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Interacts with patient/subject and families in a courteous and professional manner. Collaborates with various personnel that may be involved in assisting with specific aspects in the study.</li>
<li>Gathers, Properly Packages, Stores and Transfers Slides, Samples and Other Important Materials. Coordinates the shipment and transfer of varied types of materials among the various departments and labs.</li>
<li>May complete assessments on study subjects/patients per protocol (with proper training); continue to follow-through with items and patients as part of research study. May (if proper training has occurred) draw patients/subjects blood, perform EKG, and or take vital signs. May be required to travel to study initiation (that is, where sponsor teaches protocol to PI and CRC).</li>
<li>Ensures protocol compliance. Follows standard steps regarding eligibility criteria, follow-up process and documentation.</li>
<li>Demonstrate knowledge of policies and procedures of the host institution where the study is being conducted, including the regulatory requirements such as IRB and other approvals if necessary.</li>
<li>Under supervision, acts as an internal auditor during quarterly internal audits for other studies, is aware of study regulatory status and keeps an up to date copy of regulatory documents.</li>
<li>Initiates and continues regular contact with patients; encourages visit reminders and compliance to research; ensures contact with patients and their families is courteous, effective, professional and cooperative.</li>
<li>Utilizes established methodologies to collect patient information for the research project(s); gathers and compiles data, statistics and other materials as needed. Inputs clinical and non-clinical data into the database and or case report forms. With guideance, extracts data for publications, or provides data collection from outside physicians offices. May perform library searches and retrieve reference materials from various sources; request articles from medical journals.</li>
<li>Compiles data and assists in consolidating data for presentation to sponsoring and regulatory agencies. Reviews data with supervisor and then provides reports to all parties (e.g., data and safety monitoring committee, the principal investigator, sponsoring agency, etc.) on the progress of the study.</li>
<li>Recruits and the screens of potential patients/subjects for eligibility to the study.</li></ul> 


Additional Position Specific Responsibilities: 
Perform data extraction from medical records for clinical trials and cohort studies 
Perform bedside patient assessments and examinations for research, including sedation depth, non-verbal pain assessment, and delirium assessment, among other assessments 
Perform bedside data collection for critically ill adult patients, including those with pneumonia and viral respiratory infections 
Obtain biological specimens for enrolled study participants, including but not limited to venous and arterial blood samples, nasal or oropharyngeal respiratory swabs, airway samples (sputum, breath condensate, tracheal aspirate), and urine/stool samples as needed for study protocols
 
Assist with initiating and adjusting study-related devices and monitors according to study protocol, in collaboration with the clinical and research teams where applicable 
Perform other bedside procedures as required by study protocol 
Assist with performing protein biomarker measurements with ELISA and multi-analyte platforms under supervision of the research laboratory manager 
Receive, label, process, and log unique and irreplaceable human biospecimen samples 
Prepare biospecimen collection kits and other materials for NYU and other sites participating in our clinical studies 
Conduct long-term follow-up phone questionnaires of study participants 
Maintain rigorous documentation for study records, including performing office and clerical duties as needed 


Minimum Qualifications: 
Associate's degree plus one year related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Computer literate with good interpersonal, writing and verbal communication skills. 


Preferred Qualifications: 
Bachelor's degree or equivalent education 
Prior research experience 
Prior experience working with patients in a hospital setting 
Ability to work independently while unafraid to ask questions whenever uncertain about the correct course of action 
Phlebotomy skills

Why this role exists
We are scaling across client engagements: post-training dataset creation, benchmarking programs, and ongoing evaluation partnerships. Each project spans a different mix of AI labs, creative-tool companies, and research teams, with different requirements, timelines, and quality bars. We need someone to own this work from end to end.
Think of yourself as the operator for a project or vertical. You sit between three groups that do not naturally talk to each other: the client who needs the data, the creative experts producing it, and the internal engineering team building the tooling. Your job is to make all three feel like they are working on the same thing, and to ship results that are both rigorous and genuinely useful.

The methodology. Annotation protocols, rubrics, and evaluation designs for creative and multimodal outputs.</li><li>

The Manager Solutions team is responsible for the research, selection, and ongoing monitoring of asset managers used across Global Wealth Management investment programs. The team supports a global client base and operates across New York, London, and Mumbai.
We are seeking a Senior Associate with a focus on fixed income funds, ETFs and separate accounts. This individual will play a critical role in manager research, investment underwriting, and ongoing monitoring across a variety of fixed income sectors. The role serves as a key point of contact for external asset managers and contributes directly to investment committee recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
