Combined Our Team Members Have 20+ Years Certified as Medical Surgical Nurses. We are a 42-bed Medical Specialties Unit. Our diverse patient population includes but is not limited to CHF, Sickle Cell, Renal Failure, Vascular, Sepsis, COPD, Pneumonia, Osteomyelitis w/ Surgical Interventions, Wound Care and, an assortment of varying disease processes.
We one main Nursing Station and 7 Substations. Within those Substations you can visualize your patient assignment and govern your own work area. Equipment utilized on unit has EPIC integration, thus decreasing your time inputting data. We live out our &ldquo;no staff left behind&rdquo; motto and teamwork model by staying in contact with each other through the use of walkie talkies, including the management team. Overview:

The ideal MDS Candidate is very detailed orientated, organized, self-motivated, while still being bedside for resident assessment and meeting with families. Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care.
How you Will make a Difference:
<ul><li>Collect information to complete the MDS using the medical record, bedside assessment, and staff, resident and/or family interviews.</li><li>
Participate in Daily PPS meetings, weekly Medicare meetings, and month end meetings to assure federal billing requirements are met. Review Plan of Care at least quarterly and with each Comprehensive Assessment to assure changes during the quarter are included and updated.</li><li>
Provide ongoing education of the RAI process to all interdisciplinary team members, direct and indirect caregivers, business office, etc. with all changes and as appropriate.</li></ul>
What you Need to make a Difference:
<ul><li>Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse with required current state licensure.</li><li>

Under direct supervision of clinical staff and therapists, the Orthopedic Technician is responsible for preparing/cleaning treatment areas, positioning patients, procurement and inventory of supplies and transporting patients. Supporting both clerical and clinical staff in successful provision of treatment plans.
Qualifications

Experience:
<ul><li>One year of acute care, care partner, healthcare, or patient care work experience (Preferred)</li></ul>
