What You'll Do:</b>
</p><ul><li>Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government services location.</li>
<li>Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.</li>
<li>Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, entry points, and perimeter spaces, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.</li>
<li>Monitor building activity and report maintenance issues, policy violations, and/or unusual behavior to appropriate personnel in accordance with post orders and location protocols.</li>
<li>Support a professional environment by giving directions, assisting with de-escalation when appropriate, and following Allied Universal reporting procedures for security-related events.</li></ul><p><b>
Minimum Requirements:</b>
</p><ul><li>Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.</li>
<li>Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.</li>
<li>Access control and badge experience is preferred.</li>
<li>A guard card or license is preferred.</li>
<li>Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.</li>
<li>Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.</li>
<li>As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.</li>
<li>Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.</li>
