The Development Department at The New York Public Library raises funds from private sources to support the mission and vision of The New York Public Library. The team is made up of a dynamic group of development and events professionals who together represent expertise in all areas of fundraising, including individual, corporate, foundation and government grants, special events, membership, planned giving, and systems management. The Development Department raises over $26 million in Annual Fund and over $90 million overall each year.<br>
</div><div>The Library is seeking a dynamic and experienced development professional to increase revenue from foundations, corporate partners, and government grants. Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, the Director of Institutional Giving &amp; Government Grants leads the creation and implementation of a comprehensive strategy for building and sustaining a pipeline of support for both the Annual Fund, totaling $4 million annually, as well as major support for restricted priorities across the Library. The Director works cross-departmentally to identify opportunities and meet funding needs for education programs, curators, public engagement, exhibitions, and collections, among other areas.<br>

Allied Universal is hiring a <b>Security</b> <b>Site Supervisor</b><b> </b>in <b>Watsontown, PA</b>. The general purpose and function of the <b>Security Site Supervisor</b> encompasses the professional operation, administration, profitability, and quality assurance of uniformed services for a client&rsquo;s site. The <b>Security Site Supervisor</b> will supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services to an assigned customer. The<b> Security Site Supervisor</b> will act as a liaison between customers, Operation Managers and security officers. They will supervise site staff and provide coaching, recognition and discipline within approved empowerment range. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver&rsquo;s license to meet AU Driver Policy requirements.</div><p></p><p><b>

What You'll Do:</b></p><ul><li>
Oversee that all aspects of the security function on-site are performed in a diligent manner (staffing, scheduling, and on-site training all Allied Universal. personnel assigned to his/her site)</li><li>
Ensure that contract-required training and screening elements for security personnel have been met</li><li>
Maintain overtime to a minimal or preset requirement designated by AUS</li><li>
Ensure quality of service and contract compliance by regularly inspecting security personnel and their job performance when assigned to his/her shift</li><li>
Perform other operations and related functions (e.g., payroll, review and maintain incident reports, assist in preparation of security surveys and post orders)</li><li>
Make recommendations for positive and negative personnel actions for those under his/her direct supervision.</li><li>
Respond to client requests</li><li>
Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders</li><li>
Provide direction and instruction to subordinates in regard to the performance of their duties</li><li>
Disciplinary action/commendation decisions pertaining to security personnel</li><li>
Make productivity and cost reduction recommendations to management</li><li>
Make recommendations for physical security surveys and post orders</li><li>
Make recommendations concerning disciplinary action/commendation decisions pertaining to security personnel</li></ul><p></p><div><b>
Minimum Requirements:</b></div><ul><li>
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent</li><li>
Be at least 21 years of age</li><li>
Must be able to pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing</li><li>
Must be able to pass a state licensing test if driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicle</li><li>
Must have 6+ months of Security experience or the equivalent</li><li>
Be able to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors</li><li>
Access Control / Badge experience</li><li>
Alarm panel experience</li><li>
Be comfortable with computer and similar technology</li><li>
Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public</li><li>
