The Opportunity</b></p><p>
This position works out of our Istanbul location in the In Abbott&rsquo;s Electrophysiology (EP) business, we&rsquo;re advancing the treatment of heart disease through breakthrough medical technologies in atrial fibrillation, allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives.</p><p></p><p><b>
What You&rsquo;ll Do</b></p><ul><li>
Achieve sales quota per plan by servicing the current customer base, increasing the sales volume to that base and establishing new accounts. Complexity is moderate (territory and/or assigned accounts, products/services, sales or account management process)</li><li>
Has moderate authority to make sales commitments for assigned efforts and is accountable for results within established guidelines. May provide input to division-wide sales standards, practices, procedures and policies and/or tenders.</li><li>
Implement comprehensive sales plans to ensure increased market penetration and establishing of new accounts</li><li>
Develops and maintains a good understanding of EP products</li><li>
Must share expertise about product specifications with the health care professionals during the procedural cases</li><li>
Prepares reports and drafts initial conclusions/basic analysis; and performs required administrative sales duties, e.g., filing expense account reports, scheduling appointments, and making travel plans</li><li>
Maintain business operations in accordance with corporate policies in respect to pricing, quotes, credit terms, expense reporting and Quality guidelines.</li><li>
Follow and share the best practices guidelines before and after the sales call.</li><li>
Develops knowledge/awareness of competition products</li><li>
Act as Company ambassador at all times i.e. represents the Company in a professional manner and with highest integrity while interacting with customers and assigned institutions, physicians and technicians, customer purchasing and administration.</li><li>
Proactively plan weekly travel schedule and communicate this through the appropriate channels in country/division</li><li>
Apply the company Account Profiling system and ensure the following basic information is incorporated in the accounts: people, their preferred behavioral styles, volume of product, competitors, local politics, decision structure including decision makers, needs, brief history, proposed minimum call frequency</li><li>
Is responsible to comply with the H.C.P. guidelines</li><li>
After sales operations, have responsibilities EP procedural case coverage</li></ul><p></p><p><b>
Required Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>
Basic understanding of (Cardiac Electrophysiology-EP) product lines and acquiring fair understanding of business, financials, products/services, the market and the needs of assigned accounts</li><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree or experience equivalent</li><li>
1-3 years of successful sales experience within medical device industry</li><li>
Excellent personal computer skills including MS Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>
Preferred Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>
Must have abilities to solve clinical problems</li><li>
Well organized and accustomed to tight deadlines</li><li>
Experience to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.</li><li>
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation skills</li><li>
