The Office of Housing Access and Stability (HAS) of HPD administers rental subsidies, including Section 8, Shelter Plus Care, and Moderate Rehabilitation. Created by the Housing and Community Development Act of 1978, the Housing Choice Voucher program, also known as Section 8, provides assistance to eligible low- and moderate-income families to rent housing in the private market, and forms the majority of assistance HAS administers. HAS has close to 12 work units that directly and indirectly deliver multiple services to tenants, applicants and landlords.<br>

HPD Tech is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager. This position within HPD Tech will oversee a variety of technology projects supporting HPD&rsquo;s Office of Housing Access and Stability (HAS) vertical. The Senior Project Manager will work to ensure program and project goals are reached.<br>

Your Role:<br>

Your role will be to work closely with HPD HAS's stakeholders within business, technology, external agencies and vendors to ensure that efficiency and effectiveness of systems solutions are deployed in support of business objectives. You will oversee the planning, procurement and implementation of IT initiatives affecting the business vertical. Your main duties include project planning, budget management, resource allocation and project implementation for HAS technology projects that is in line with the organization's standards and policies.<br>
