 Are you a digital storyteller with a passion for spreading big ideas around the world? TED is looking for a social video editor/producer to join our team. Based at TED&rsquo;s NYC office, this role is responsible for producing video assets across all of TED&rsquo;s social media platforms.  Primary Responsibilities:

 Required Skills:

<li>Act as on-set producer and videographer for Brian's content shoots</li>
<li>Maintain a consistent tone, voice, and visual identity across all content</li>
<li>Track performance metrics, compile insights, and iterate content strategy accordingly. You'll be responsible for understanding what resonates and adjusting strategy in real time</li>
<li>Support breaking news coverage within the travel and points &amp; miles space</li>
<li>Occasional domestic and international travel will be required</li>
</ul>
What We're Looking For:
<ul>
<li>4-6 years of experience in media production, influencer/talent management, digital content strategy, or a related field</li>
<li>Proven experience producing and editing short-form social video content</li>
<li>Proficiency with video editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or similar platforms</li>
<li>Familiarity with social analytics tools and platform-native insights (Instagram Insights, TikTok Analytics, etc.)</li>
<li>Strong editorial judgment and ability to respond quickly to emerging news cycles</li>
<li>Comfortable working independently and making decisions</li>
<li>Confident on-set presence with the ability to direct on-camera talent effectively</li>
<li>Exceptional written communication skills for scripts, captions, and briefing materials</li>
<li>Strong storytelling instincts and audience-first mindset</li>
<li>Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment</li>
<li>Passion for travel, loyalty programs, credit cards, and consumer media is a strong plus</li>
</ul>
Compensation:

This range reflects total cash compensation, which may include base salary only or base salary plus target bonus, depending on the role. Where eligible, equity may also be offered separately and not included below. Actual compensation varies based on location, experience, and qualifications.

<li>Total Cash Compensation Range: $112,500 - $162,500 per year*</li>
</ul>
<ul><li>Must live and work within a 30 mile radius of the NYC office and be willing to work a hybrid schedule (Tuesday through Thursday) and work fully remotely on Mondays and Fridays each week.</li></ul>
