Who We Need</h1>
Sabel Systems is seeking a highly motivated Release Train Engineer/Senior Scrum Master to facilitate Agile practices for our customer located in El Segundo, California. This hybrid Agile Release Train Engineer/Senior Scrum Master will report onsite 3 days per week with up to 10% additional travel to support customer events. The Release Train Engineer/Senior Scrum Master will guide our customer teams in the Sabel approach to Agile practices and tools alongside a team of Agile Coaches, Release Train Engineers/Scrum Masters, Atlassian Software Engineers, and Jira/Confluence helpdesk technicians. The Release Train Engineer/Senior Scrum Master will facilitate and guide teams through an Agile Digital Transformation tracking achievement against execution timelines and encouraging adoption of Agile Standards and Best Practices across an enterprise-level organization. In addition, the Release Train Engineer/Senior Scrum Master will follow through on continuous improvement efforts, gathering feedback, requirements, and priorities from the customer to drive efficiency, transparency, and collaboration. Facilitation will include in-person events, trainings, workshops with up to several hundred participants. Candidate demonstrates proven success in advancing lasting cultural change across multiple teams, is proficient in Agile methodologies, and is committed to meeting the customer where they are to drive adoption. Strong Project Admin experience with Jira and Confluence is required. The Release Train Engineer/Senior Scrum Master must feel comfortable configuring new Jira Scrum and Kanban boards, creating Jira issues, configuring Jira Plans and defining roadmaps, and writing JQL filters. The Release Train Engineer/Senior Scrum Master must be able to work independently, train others on Agile methodologies and how to use Jira/Confluence to track work, as well as brainstorm innovative solutions with teammates via MS Teams calls, chat and email.
