Position Summary:</b></h2></div><div><p>
The Senior Business Systems Analyst (Sr BSA) at Ventura Foods will lead efforts to bridge business needs with technological solutions, providing advanced support and guidance to both business partners and development teams. This senior-level position involves technology discovery, in-depth process analysis, leading business requirements definition to successful completion strategic involvement in corporate initiatives, and functional oversight of complex projects. You will be a member of the Business Engagement Team and the project liaison between partner subject matter experts and the Information Technology team. This position is highly visible and interacts with partners within a specific Business Unit. The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for effective communication between partners and management as well as other support members and the Information Technology team. Additionally, the Sr BSA will guide less experienced or new team members, lead quality test planning efforts, elaborate detailed use cases that elucidate user experience requirements, manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and oversee deployment communications. This role requires extensive experience in the role ensuring high-impact project outcomes and continuous improvement within Ventura Foods.</p></div></div><div><div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Major Duties and Responsibilities:</b></h2></div><div><div>
Each Senior BSA role is aligned to a specific enterprise value stream and is expected to develop strong end-to-end process knowledge, partner closely with business and IT stakeholders, and help ensure requirements, testing, and solutions support efficient, integrated outcomes across the full lifecycle of that value stream.</div><div>

The primary focus area for this position is Idea to Market. You will lead business systems analysis for the end-to-end Idea to Market value stream, partnering across R&amp;D, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and IT to improve innovation-to-launch execution using Oracle Fusion.</div><ul><li>
Shape Demand: Support and partner in the identification and prioritization of business opportunities / ideas, focusing on long-term strategic goals. Lead the cultivation and refinement of these business ideas into actionable demands including comprehensive business cases.</li><li>
Process Analysis: Conduct detailed assessments of current business processes using flowcharts and analytical tools to document and help identify gaps, inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement which can be addressed through the use of technology.</li><li>
Business Requirements: Lead the elicitation and documentation of complex, cross-functional business requirements for corporate and strategic priority initiatives.</li><li>
Quality Assurance: Ensure business requirements are met by partnering with the QA team in blackbox testing and leading UAT efforts, including test strategy, planning, execution, and issue resolution along. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success. Engage in post-implementation reviews to identify lessons learned and drive continuous improvement.</li><li>
Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate effective communications between business partners, delivery teams, and executive stakeholders.</li><li>
Mentoring and Training: Guide less experienced and new BSA team members. Also work with Training and Development to create effective training media and training plans for end users of solutions.</li><li>

Education and Experience:</b></h2></div><div><ul><li>
Bachelor's Degree in Technology, Engineering, or Business</li><li>
5-10 years of progressively increasing responsibility as a BSA</li><li>
Equivalent business experience, with extensive involvement in process analysis, process design and documentation</li><li>
Involvement in complex large scale and high impact projects/platform implementations that add significant business value.</li><li>
Experience supporting end-to-end Idea to Market or Innovation-to-Launch processes, from ideation and product development through commercialization and operational readiness.</li><li>
Experience documenting complex workflows, business rules, and data dependencies that support product lifecycle management and stage-gate execution.</li><li>
Experience working with <b>Oracle Fusion</b> in support of product, supply chain, and financial processes; exposure to PLM or product data management concepts is a plus.</li></ul></div></div><div><div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Knowledge and Skills:</b></h2></div><div><ul><li>
Knowledge in multiple functional areas or be an expert in at least one of the following: Logistics, Product Lifecycle Management, and corporate systems (HR, Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain, and/or Operations).</li><li>
Demonstrate deep process knowledge of key end to end processes like Idea to Market.)</li><li>
Ability to perform system and process analysis duties including flow charting and value stream mapping using process and software documentation tools.</li><li>
Has direct participation and experience with multiple software platform implementations.</li><li>
Ability to partner effectively with strategy innovations and R&amp;D, Product Management, Engineering, Development, Operations, Supply Chain, Commercialization, Sales, and Finance.</li><li>
Strong background in process discovery and requirements definition for cross-functional initiatives that enable faster, more predictable product launches.</li><li>
Proven capability to lead UAT and business validation activities for solutions impacting multiple stakeholder groups with diverse needs.</li><li>
Ability to balance innovation, compliance, and operational scalability when defining and prioritizing system requirements.</li><li>
Prior experience with process improvement methodologies and tools (Kaizen, Six Sigma, Green/Black Belt, etc).</li><li>
Understanding of data systems, databases, software development life cycle, and information and application architecture.</li><li>
Experience leading the development of UAT and QA testing plans and cases.</li><li>
Ability to learn and adapt to new software and technology.</li><li>
Project management skills a plus.</li><li>
