Identify and quantify Material Risk Inventories (MRI) through the use of markets limits, stress testing scenarios, and HVaR/MCVaR factors. Diagnose emerging market themes and analyze the risk identification monitoring tool. Validate stress testing results that feeds into capital allocation by conducting a preliminary stress P&amp;L calculation for desks with concentrated risks. Identify positions that carry significant risk to Markets' P&amp;L by running regression analyses on both actual P&amp;L and HVaR P&amp;L data against various market securities. Participate in and lead discussions in FX calls to highlight event risks, topical client flows and desk positions. Track and identify key macro events and economic indicators for developed markets to support the stress testing scenario design process. Identify concentrated market level risk and propose risk mitigating hedge ideas. Promote risk mitigating hedges to the overall global markets. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Fixed Income Trader

<div>The CVA/XVA Desk is responsible for the pricing and subsequent risk management of the XVA of trades in the Equities Business. The Desk also manages and prices the use of funding and capital.
The Desk prices transactions of varying sizes, and manages portfolios of equity, credit, FX, and volatility risk. The Desk works closely with Structuring, Corporate and Institutional Sales, Risk Management, Finance, and all Equities Trading Desks.
This is an opportunity to join the Equities XVA team and develop the next generation of XVA pricing and risk management capabilities. The role of a XVA trader is to manage all aspects of deal pricing, book management and projects engagement around the reported XVA. Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Pricing XVA holistically: CVA, FVA, ColVA, Margin costs and Capital</li><li>
Analysing and hedging the risk of the Equities XVA book, daily monitoring of Risk and P&amp;L.</li><li>
Understanding the existing RWA themes of the division, be able to relate Basel Regulatory principles to trades and evaluate capital efficiency of transactions</li><li>

Recommended Qualifications:
The successful candidate will need an appropriate grasp of several if not most of the financial products traded by an Equity division. Experience in CVA/FVA management would be beneficial.
A background in equity structured products space or at least a very good understanding of the risks and the business profile of structured equity derivatives would be beneficial. Also be confident in regulatory capital terminology, including Basel rules, FRTB, Liquidity Coverage ratio and others. Key qualifications would include:<ul><li>
Very strong analytical and mathematical skills, applied in Derivatives pricing and risk management, preferably spanning a variety of products and asset classes</li><li>
Experience with understanding legal transactional documents (trade confirmation and Credit Support Annex)</li><li>

 The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $85000-$110000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.

Responsibilities
<ul><li>Design and develop code for GF Funding Desk analytics tools and risk framework improvements.</li><li>
Work on implementing business logic for funding/liquidity risk and driver explain and other calculators needed in Global Funding space.</li><li>
Set up jobs for report/dashboard generation and working with Support partners to ensure adequate monitoring is in place.</li><li>
Ensure that application changes are scalable, performant and pre-release procedures are followed.</li><li>
Liaise closely with partners in Treasury, Risk management, Operations, Finance etc.</li><li>
Take ownership of project deliverables and ensure dev tasks are tracked per required standards on Jira.</li><li>
Perform code reviews and feedback on implementation.</li><li>
Collaborate with QA teams and support to ensure testing frameworks and support tools cover all important aspects of the applications.</li><li>
Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.</li></ul>
Required Skills &amp; Experience<ul><li>
Master's degree or equivalent in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Mathematical Finance, or related: and</li><li>
3 years of experience in the job offered or a related Finance occupation.</li><li>
Must include 3 years of experience in each of the following:</li><li>
Developing analytical capabilities and reporting tools using Python, SQL, HTML and Java to handle large datasets;</li><li>
Developing tools to calculate Risk and opportunities to facilitate funding executions by utilizing Python;</li><li>
Utilizing Python, Javascript, and HTML to design reporting tools to generate comprehensive reports on funding and liquidity management for the desk; and,</li><li>
Performing data analysis by leveraging expertise in interest rate derivatives, pricing, and risk calculation.</li></ul>
