About the Role
City University Qatar is seeking an experienced and results-driven Head of Student Recruitment to lead the University's student recruitment strategy and drive sustainable enrolment growth. Reporting to the Vice President – Operations & Quality, the successful candidate will lead the Student Recruitment team, develop strategic partnerships, oversee recruitment campaigns, and expand the University's presence across local and international markets to achieve ambitious recruitment targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and manage the Student Recruitment team to achieve enrolment targets and KPIs.
- Design and implement recruitment strategies across local and international markets.
- Manage recruitment campaigns, events, exhibitions, and outreach initiatives.
- Build strategic relationships with schools, corporate partners, ministries, government entities, and international education agencies.
- Optimise recruitment performance through CRM, AI tools, and data-driven decision-making.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Admissions, and academic departments to maximise student recruitment opportunities.
- Prepare recruitment reports, forecasts, and market insights for senior management.
- Promote CUQ programmes through presentations, networking, and corporate engagement.
- Develop partnerships that support student recruitment, internships, and workforce development initiatives.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 7 years' management experience in student recruitment, business development, or higher education.
- Proven success in leading recruitment teams and delivering enrolment growth.
- Experience managing recruitment campaigns across multiple markets and developing strategic partnerships.
- Strong knowledge of CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and data-driven recruitment strategies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of international student recruitment, student visa processes, and higher education regulations is highly desirable.
- Fluency in English is essential; Arabic is an advantage.
