About the Internship
The World Trade Center Department operates and maintains the World Trade Center (WTC), an iconic multi-functional destination that provides vital transportation and economic connection to keep the region moving. The WTC Site is a mixed-use campus with a rich and complex history owned and operated by The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. The campus is a center for reflection, commuting, shopping, visiting, working, learning, and engaging. We work closely with our stakeholders, tenants and business partners, who run commercial and institutional portions of the campus.
The World Trade Center (WTC) department is looking for an intern to join their team in the Budget &amp; Financial Unit to support our team's goal of managing our department and agency's resources. This position will assist with the preparation of deliverables supporting the department's monthly financial close and reporting cycle for both Operating Revenues and Expenses, including budget to actual variance analysis. The selected candidate will support the Budget &amp; Finance team with the creation and consolidation of the 2027 Operating Budget. In addition, you will assist with everyday operation and management of agency recourses, which include assisting with invoice and receivable processing for all World Trade Center Department Stakeholders.

The intern will be scheduled per week, Monday &ndash; Thursday from 9 am &ndash; 6 pm. Internships at Eataly are paid an hourly rate. Housing and transportation costs are the responsibility of the intern.
The compensation for this role is $17.00 per hour

Qualifications<ul><li> 
Actively pursuing an undergraduate degree</li><li>
Exceptional writing and communication skills</li><li>
Solid organizational skills and attention to detail</li><li>
Ability to take direction and work independently</li><li>
Operational experience in the food and beverage industry</li></ul><ul><li>
Working knowledge of Italian language highly preferred</li><li>
Familiarity with Canva, SharePoint, LinkedIn, Excel and PowerPoint preferred</li></ul>
