The Communications team is seeking an intern to support the team in achieving its goals of promoting Eurasia Group&rsquo;s political risk analysis in both traditional and digital media and communicating important updates internally across the firm. The intern will be responsible for monitoring media mentions and tracking trends in coverage, maintaining the press contact database, helping draft pitch emails and press releases, and creating detailed media lists by key sectors and geographies.
 
 
 This internship will provide opportunities to learn about the geopolitical risk field, develop competencies applicable to the work in communications and public relations, develop solid contexts in journalism, gain experience in traditional and digital communications, and explore the intersection of business, government, the public sector, and the media. Applicants should be undergraduate students or actively enrolled in a graduate academic institution.

ABOUT THE COMMUNICATIONS INTERNSHIP

Orchestra is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our Summer 2026 Communications Internship Program. This hands-on opportunity provides meaningful experience across strategic communications, public affairs, media engagement, and brand storytelling.

Interns are embedded on a specific team and contribute to active client work across industries including technology, real estate, consumer, sports, arts and culture, philanthropy, and public affairs. You will support both long-term initiatives and day-to-day projects, developing skills in writing, research, media relations, and client service within a fast-paced agency environment.

Interns participate in internal meetings, client calls, and events, gaining exposure to how integrated communications strategies are developed and executed.

<li>Duration: May 26, 2026 - August 21, 2026</li>
<li>Location: Hybrid internship based in our New York, N.Y. or Washington, D.C. offices (minimum 3 days/week in-office)</li>
<li>Compensation: Interns receive a standard rate of $18/hour.</li>

ACCOUNTABILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

As an intern, you will&hellip;

<li>Support client accounts through research, media list development, and meeting preparation</li>
<li>Draft and edit press materials, pitches, memos, social content, and reports</li>
<li>Monitor media coverage and industry trends</li>
<li>Track deliverables and organize internal and client-facing materials</li>
<li>Participate in team meetings and client calls</li>
<li>Collaborate across teams on cross-functional projects</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Rising junior or senior, postgraduate student, or early-career professional with relevant interest or experience</li>
<li>Strong writing, research and analytical skills</li>
<li>Demonstrated interest in communications, media, policy, business, or culture</li>
<li>Highly organized and able to manage multiple deadlines</li>
<li>Professional written and verbal communication skills</li>
<li>Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office</li>
