How You Will Make an Impact:</b> The Patient Accounts Receivable Representative plays a vital role in ensuring the financial health and stability of CCRM Fertility by tracking and collecting payments. This role is pivotal in maintaining the financial health of CCRM Fertility by minimizing outstanding receivables and maximizing revenue efficiency. The Accounts Receivable Representative efforts contribute to the stability and growth of CCRM Fertility while fostering positive relationships with vendors and patients through professional and efficient payment interactions.</p><p><b>
What You Will Do:</b><b> </b>The Patient Accounts Receivable Representative is responsible for managing the organization's patient accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate collection of payments from patients and insurance providers. They handle billing inquiries, track outstanding balances, and work with clients to resolve payment discrepancies, and foster positive relationships with customers. This position reports to the RCM Supervisor.</p><ul><li>
Support inter-company patients with questions regarding insurance matters, current account status, and billing questions.</li><li>
Make a record of all patient interactions and/or account task updates to ensure all staff can follow up appropriately.</li><li>
Ensure patients statement balances are current, process/post insurance and patient payments received.</li><li>
Coordinate billing for procedures cover by insuance (per business office policy).</li><li>
Complete appeals and send necessary documentation to facilitate payment when insurance providers provide wrong reimbursement, low reimbursement, and/or incorrect insurance denials.</li><li>
Other specific duties as assigned.</li></ul><div><b>
What You Bring:</b></div><ul><li>
High School Diploma or GED required.</li><li>
1+ year medical billing experience required.</li><li>
Previous experience in reproductive medicine or Women&rsquo;s health is preferred.</li><li>
Prior experience with Athena preferred.</li><li>
Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays, on a rotating basis.</li></ul><p><b>
