We are seeking an Afterschool Health Office Coordinator to support K-3 students during our Afterschool program. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with this age group, and have some experience working in a school nursing office or medical field. The Health Office Coordinator is a member of the afterschool program staff and reports to the Director of Afterschool Programs, while working closely with Dalton&rsquo;s nursing team.</p><p><b>
Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>
Manage the 91st Street Health Office from 3:00-6:00 PM daily</li><li>
Serve as the first point of contact for any health and wellness issues during the afterschool program</li><li>
Administer first aid for basic injuries</li><li>
Consult with on-duty RN (located at Dalton&rsquo;s 89th Street campus) regarding any concerns</li><li>
Communicate with families regarding any injury or illness</li><li>
Supervise students who need to be picked up</li><li>
Document incidents in Dalton&rsquo;s student medical records software program</li><li>

The Activity Specialist will be responsible for curriculum development, activity facilitation, and classroom management in organized sports, performing arts (theater, dance, spoken word, etc.), STEM, photography/media/graphic design, visual/creative arts, or leadership. Position Summary: </b>The Children&rsquo;s Aid Afterschool in Action Program at the Salome Urena Campus, funded by the NYC Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD) is an afterschool enrichment program operating Monday through Friday, from 2:00pm to 6:00pm. The Facilitator will provide tutorial help for students with their homework, additional educational instruction, social emotional learning, and the opportunity to engage middle school age children in an array of enriching sports and art-based activities.</p><br>

Essential Duties:</b></p>
