<p>The Ramp Service Employee (RSE) is responsible for processing baggage, boxes, and/or cargo between baggage/cargo areas in the airport facilities and aircraft, as well as receiving and dispatching aircraft. <h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>What You Need to Succeed (Minimum Requirements):</b></h3>

<ul><li>At least 18 years old</li>
<li>High school diploma, GED, or equivalent</li>
<li>Comfortable with computers, mobile devices, and new technologies</li>
<li>Able to stand, walk, and handle baggage for an eight-hour shift</li>
<li>Able to read, write and speak English fluently</li>
<li>Ability to communicate with other departments and flight crews</li>
<li>Must possess a valid state-issued driver&rsquo;s license, with a good driving record</li>
<li>Must be eligible to acquire and maintain credentials vital for the position</li>
<li>Must pass a background check</li>
<li>Must pass a pre-placement physical ability test, hearing and vision tests, and drug screen</li>
<li>Position-specific clearances include but are not limited to FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal Service clearances</li>
<li>Available during day and night shifts, weekends, and holidays</li>
<li>When necessary, based on the needs of the operation, you will be required to work mandatory overtime</li>
<li>Able to perform a variety of physical activities including bending, stooping, climbing, and working in tight spaces, including lifting up to 70lbs</li>
<li>Ability to obtain required training certifications, perform safety checks, and successfully complete all required job functions, including but not limited to operating and driving equipment, loading and unloading baggage and cargo, interpreting load sheets, baggage tags, and cargo labels</li>
<li>Work outdoors in all temperatures and weather conditions</li>
<li>Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship</li>
<li>Work where there will be exposure to high noise levels</li>
<li>Must NOT have lived outside of the United States in the past 3 years for any period longer than six months, except for military duty or government-approved exceptions</li>
<li>Successful completion of interview and assessment required to meet job qualifications</li>
<li>Reliable, punctual attendance is a crucial function of the position</li>
<li>Ability to meet our uniform, and appearance standards</li>
<li>Must be willing and able to work 100% on-site</li>

The starting rate for this role is $19.64.<br>
This is also a bonus eligible position (i.e. profit sharing).<br>
