MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AT ENTRY: 
A. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 
1. Previous cleaning or custodial experience preferred. 
2. Must be 18 years of age or older.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Thorough cleaning of aircraft interiors, including turn and overnight aircraft as directed by company and/or client specifications and procedures to include but not limited to the following: vacuum, dust, clean bathrooms, clean galley, fold blankets, change pillow cases, add supplies, clean out garbage, position seatbelts, clean tray tables, clean windows, upholstery exchange and rug exchange. 
2. Provision aircraft as directed with required ship supplies by aircraft type 
3. Pull assignments or work orders from computer, as needed. 
4. Leave notice for supervisor to re-order supply items that are running low. 
5. Do all reports accurately and in a timely manner. 
6. Must be familiar with all FAA/ TSA/Airline/Company regulations. 
7. Keep supervisor informed of needs and problems in assigned areas, maintain cleanliness of immediate work area and report maintenance needs. 
8. Project a positive image and respond to inquiries from airlines, staff and public in a courteous manner. 
9. Attend meetings and inservices as required. 
10. Utilize appropriate communications channels and maintain records, reports and files as required. 
11. Must be attired in proper uniform or business attire as directed by company officials and identification badges must always be visible. 
12. Adhere to company policies and procedures and participate in achievement of company objectives. 
13. Utilize company and client equipment, supplies and resources in a conscientious, cost effective manner.

Job Summary
To serve as a Firefighter assigned to drive and operate firefighting vehicles of significant complexity engaged in airfield, structural firefighting, crash-rescue, and Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) Operations and assist in reducing and/or eliminating potential fire hazards and reacting to the presence or potential releases of hazardous materials as a first responder to protect persons, property, or the environment.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Aircraft Mechanic Instructor to prepare students for successful careers in aircraft maintenance by delivering our FAA-aligned curriculum through high quality instruction, demonstrating hands-on techniques and fostering an engaging and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Teach our FAA-aligned curriculum in a positive, supportive classroom environment that encourages participation and skill development</li>
<li>Support program leadership in the development and revision of high quality, accurate course materials</li>
<li>Record accurate attendance, grades, evaluations, and other required documentation</li>
<li>Notify leadership of any emerging concerns affecting student performance or classroom operations</li>
<li>Complete required training and participate in classroom observations and evaluations</li>
<li>Complete other tasks and projects assigned by Supervisor</li>

Qualifications

<li>Education
<ul><li>High School Diploma or GED</li>
<li>Associate degree in a related field preferred</li>

<ul><li>At least three (3) years of hands-on aircraft maintenance experience</li>

<div>Provide day to day administration of Mesa Airlines Safety Management System (SMS) program for Technical Operations. Serves as focal point for coordination and submission of process changes that drive an SRA requirement. Responsible for maintaining, organization, and retention of records related to SMS program. Participate in weekly meeting to update Management and SMS team regarding current SRA's and associated changes. Has overall responsibility to ensure compliance to company general procedures manual, safety program Manual and Federal Aviation Regulation.

Perform assigned inspection functions in accordance with Company general procedures and other Company manuals to ensure aircraft are airworthy and serviceable.

<li>Perform assigned inspection functions, in accordance with the GPM and other Company manuals, to ensure company aircraft are inspected to the prescribed standard of airworthiness and serviceability.
 
&sect; Reviews the AMLs and DDLs for all Pilot reports and Deferred Maintenance items that are to be corrected by maintenance staff. 
&sect; Audit AMLs prior to removal of white copy.
 
&sect; Review NRJCs for deferred maintenance items that are to be corrected by maintenance staff.
 
&sect; Certifies aircraft airworthiness (with regard to work performed) after an inspection by signing the aircraft airworthiness release in the AML. 
&sect; Record discrepancies detected on appropriate work sheets.
 
&sect; Participating member of the MMRB.
 
&sect; Review all associated documentation utilized for aircraft inspections to ensure proper completion of all entries.
 
&sect; In addition to routine inspection duties, an inspector may be required to perform receiving inspections of materials and/or equipment.
 
&sect; Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager of Quality Control.</li>
</ul>Requirements:
<ul><li>Hold Mechanic's Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings and have held these ratings for at least three years. Meet requirements of 14 CFR Part 65.83.</li>
<li>Have a least one year of maintenance/inspection experience on different types of large aircraft with 10 or more passenger seats with an air carrier or certified repair station.</li>
<li>Must be able to work different shifts.</li>
<li>Position requires lifting, standing, bending for long periods of time.</li>
<li>Must be able to pass initial drug screen and random drug screens.
</li><li>Must be available for occasional travel.
</li><li>Experience with Safety Management Systems (SMS) either in direct work experience or higher education</li>
<li>Experience with analysis of data to determine risk levels</li>
<li>Detail oriented with gathering data for SRA submissions and retain organized records.</li>
<li>Must be team oriented and work well with different levels of management and FAA.</li>
<li>Proficient with use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.</li>
