The Painter supports airport services operations by preparing, painting, refinishing, and maintaining airport equipment, facility surfaces, and related assets. This role performs surface preparation, coating application, touch-ups, corrosion prevention, and general finish repairs while following all safety, security, environmental, and airport operational requirements.

YOUR IMPACT

Lead daily painting work activities, assign tasks, and provide guidance to painters or maintenance team members.</li><li>
Train team members on proper painting techniques, equipment use, PPE, chemical handling, and site procedures.</li><li>
Inspect completed work for quality, coverage, and compliance with work orders, customer expectations, and site requirements.</li><li>
Monitor material usage, maintain supplies, and notify management of inventory or equipment needs.</li><li>
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, masking, grinding, or applying primer.</li><li>
Apply paint, coatings, sealants, and finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.</li><li>
Perform touch-up painting, rust removal, corrosion control, and finish repairs on airport equipment, facility areas, and related assets.</li><li>
Mix and apply paints and coatings according to specifications, safety requirements, and company standards.</li><li>
Maintain painting tools, equipment, materials, and work areas in a clean, safe, and organized condition.</li><li>
Follow and reinforce all safety, PPE, hazardous material, lockout/tagout, fall protection, and airport security procedures.</li><li>
Document completed work, materials used, repair needs, and team progress as required.</li><li>
Support general maintenance tasks and coordinate with supervisors or other departments as needed.</li><li>

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS<ul><li>
Valid Driver License.</li><li>
Previous commercial painting, industrial painting, automotive painting, facilities maintenance, or equipment refinishing experience preferred.</li><li>
Experience with prep, grit blast and final paint of heavy machinery required.</li><li>
Required to understand all paint related safety training including, Haz-Mat, respirator, VOC, and paint booth operation.</li><li>
Ability to communicate professionally to customers and fellow employees.</li><li>

Summary
 
We are seeking an experienced Manager of IT Infrastructure and Systems to lead the integration of complex Texas Heart Institute (THI) infrastructure and cybersecurity programs into existing Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) operations. This role will partner closely with THI stakeholders to assess technical requirements, ensure continuity of services, and guide the migration and consolidation of applications, servers, networks, telephony, and related systems into BCM’s environment.
 
Job Duties
 On behalf of two IT "Phase 2" projects, works with THI stakeholders to ensure all interests are accounted for and attended to as all user technologies and supporting systems/infrastructure are migrated to BCM technologies/systems. This may require working with 15+ BCM / THI technologists, professional services firm, Legacy THI stakeholders as well as Common Spirit (provides support to some existing THI technologies).
 Oversees the transition of all clinical and research security controls into BCM’s cybersecurity framework, ensuring full alignment with institutional standards.
 Identifies and prioritizes risks, develops and harmonizes GRC controls, and advances SecOps practices in coordination with BCM’s Managed Security Services team.
 Understands how tech is implemented and used and ensures proper controls are established to ensure continued regulatory compliance when fully migrated to BCM operations.
 As systems migrate, orchestrates handling of security controls with BCM Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) which monitors all BCM systems for threats/attacks which are detected.

Welcome to the Ocular Clinical Trials at Vision Optique. We are proud to lead the way in ocular clinical research and are committed to helping advance the future of eye care. Since 2020, we&rsquo;ve conducted 20+ pre-clinical, Phase I-IV clinical trials, and we continue to actively enroll participants in new studies.We are seeking an experienced Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) who will work on site to help ensure that quality research is conducted in accordance with the Sponsor protocol, FDA Regulations, and ICH/GCP guidelines and to provide the best quality data.The CRC will play a key role in managing day-to-day operations of optometry-related clinical studies, including participant recruitment, informed consent, study visits, data collection, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate has prior experience in clinical research, excellent organizational skills, and an interest in advancing vision science and ocular health.Responsibilities<ul><li>Complete all sponsor-required and study-specific training (protocols, amendments, manuals, EDC/IVRS, and electronic systems) in a timely manner.</li><li>Conduct study visits and protocol-required procedures with the PI/Sub-I, ensuring accurate and timely documentation per ALCOA-C standards.</li><li>Perform study-related assessments (e.g., visual acuity testing, ocular imaging, intraocular pressure measurement) under PI supervision.</li><li>Recruit, screen, and enroll eligible participants; obtain informed consent and ensure participant understanding of study procedures, risks, and benefits.</li><li>Support subject retention through clear communication and engagement with research participants.</li><li>Collect, enter, and verify data in eCRFs; resolve queries promptly per sponsor and site guidelines.</li><li>Manage study visit scheduling, follow-ups, and participant communications.</li><li>Maintain regulatory binders and prepare/submit required IRB and sponsor documentation on schedule.</li><li>Ensure proper handling of investigational product (IP), including storage, temperature monitoring, calibration, inventory, and compliance with pharmacy manuals.</li><li>Liaise with investigators, research staff, administrative personnel, participants, sponsors, CROs, and monitors to ensure smooth study operations.</li><li>Adhere to GCP, FDA, IRB, and institutional regulations at all times.</li><li>Contribute to study reports and presentations as needed.</li><li>Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in life sciences, healthcare, optometry, or related field</li><li>1&ndash;2 years of experience in clinical research or healthcare setting</li><li>Knowledge of clinical research regulations (GCP, ICH guidelines, FDA) with GCP and Biomed certifications</li><li>Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects and maintain attention to detail</li></ul>Preferred:<ul><li>Familiarity with ophthalmic diagnostic tools and procedures</li><li>Phlebotomy skills and/or experience with biological sample collection</li></ul>Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
