INVISTA is seeking a Process Controls Engineer (Honeywell focused) for our Houston Chemical Plant (HCP).
The Process Controls Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, integration, configuration and programming, preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of DCS, SIS, PLC and other process control-related equipment to ensure safe, reliable and efficient operation at the Houston Chemical Plant.
Our Team
This individual will be a member of the Process Controls Team that reports into our Transformation Manager. The team works closely with the Operations, Process Engineering, Asset Management Teams to ensure safe, reliable and efficient process control performance while maintaining compliance with industry standards.
The Process Controls Team is an onsite support team and follows a 9/80 work schedule. Team members are expected to climb ladders and stairs, such as those in a plant operating area to have access to all the equipment onsite. The team supports work afterhours with an &quot;on-call&quot; weekly rotation to provide immediate remote &amp; on-site support. Additional work hours may be necessary for outages &amp; turnarounds supporting shutdown, execution, commissioning &amp; 24/7 start-up activities.

We generate a substantial majority of our revenue under primarily long-term and fee-based gathering agreements with our customers. The majority of our gathering agreements are underpinned by areas of mutual interest (&ldquo;AMIs&rdquo;) and minimum volume commitments (&ldquo;MVCs&rdquo;). Our AMIs provide that any production drilled by our customers within the AMIs will be shipped on our gathering systems. The MVCs are designed to ensure that we will generate a minimum amount of gathering revenue over the life of each respective gathering agreement. The fee-based nature of the majority of the gathering agreements enhances the stability of our cash flows and limits our direct commodity price exposure.

Summary:
This position is responsible for the allocation of gas plant products, volumes and values accounting and reporting of financial information relating to Summit&rsquo;s gas plant activities. The role involves collaboration with various operations, marketing, commercial and external customers who may be processors, purchasers or sellers of the produced residue gas and ngl's. The position involves leading a team of five, planning the workload, developing staff and ensuring that the outputs are complete, accurate and timely while at same time ensuring that organizational goals are met in a cost-effective manner and that the accounting records are in compliance with contractual agreements, GAAP and Company Policy &amp; Procedures. The job requires a proactive, self-starter who is able to work independently with good decision-making skills while interpreting and analyzing information surrounding the recognition, delivery, processing, and allocation of all volumes handled at each plant. This job also requires a team player with high standards of excellence and attention to detail.
Principle Duties &amp; Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Perform monthly plant volume allocations as well as produce customer invoices and reporting, process PPA's as necessary</li>
<li>Maximize the use of W-Energy, GPIS, and EMK3 gas plant accounting system across all companies</li>
<li>Monitor producer volume commitments and bill for any shortfalls that may occur</li>
<li>Maintain superior customer relations with external customers by addressing customer issues and provided accurate and timely information to customers</li>
<li>Train and lead the gas plant accounting group to maximize effectiveness of the gas plant team</li>
<li>Work with commercial operations as well as field operations to gain a solid understanding of gas processing contracts and processes</li>
<li>Respond to audit queries as required</li>
<li>Interact with Gas Plant Operations, Commercial and Gas Measurement to ensure accuracy and completeness of data</li>
<li>Implementing W-Energy software across all operational subsidiaries while incorporating process improvements</li>
<li>Write policies and procedures in order to standardize the process across all companies where applicable</li>
<li>Maintain SOX documentation as well as compliance with the documented processes</li>
</ul>
Education &amp; Experience:
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting with at least 5 years in a plant accounting leadership role</li>
</ul>
Knowledge Skills &amp; Abilities:
<ul><li>Knowledge of oil &amp; gas operations or energy sector preferred with a strong knowledge of gas processing, accounting and reporting principles</li>
<li>Proficiency with Microsoft Suite of applications</li>
