Purpose: The Associate Director, Equity Sales will contribute to the overall success of the U.S. Equities business in the U.S. based in New York, ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team&rsquo;s business strategies and objectives. Overview/Purpose:

We are seeking a driven and knowledgeable professional to join our U.S. Structured Notes team. Purpose 


The Associate Director is responsible for the innovation and project implementation of the U.S. and Global Banking Market (&ldquo;GBM&rdquo;) Treasury team. The incumbent is a direct report to the Director of U.S. Treasury &ndash; Strategic Initiatives and Governance and is responsible for leading the planning and execution of initiatives within U.S. Treasury as well as support Enterprise Treasury goals. Purpose:

Scotia is seeking an Associate for its US Fund Finance desk. The group will be focusing on various fund finance opportunities. This banker will help build this business and be responsible for cultivating direct relationships for the bank enabling us to further source and develop opportunities. 


What You&rsquo;ll Do:

<li>Structure and execute new fund finance transactions for private capital funds with a broad range of product offerings, including but not limited to subscription finance facilities, hybrid/NAV facilities, back-leverage facilities, BDC revolvers, and other esoteric structures.</li>
<li>Structure, analyze, and perform due diligence to facilitate prompt execution of fund finance transactions that vary in complexity.</li>
<li>Develop recommendations for the appropriate course of action based on analysis, internal credit policies/procedures and the Bank&rsquo;s risk appetite.</li>
<li>Review loan documentation and update internal system with pertinent transaction details and conduct regular monitoring of credits via annual reviews</li>
<li>Provide day-to-day account management support and ensure client files, agreements and security documents, as well as funding are complete and up to date.</li>
<li>Regularly working with risk management teams, internal/external counsel, loan operation teams to ensure successful transaction execution.</li>
<li>Lead client onboarding process.</li>
