We are seeking an experienced and innovative Associate Director of Audience Development to join our New York-based Marketing Strategy &amp; Audience Development team. This role will lead the day-to-day strategy and hands-on execution of first-party fan data acquisition campaigns (email &amp; SMS), with a particular focus on building high-intent email and SMS audiences that can be converted into e-commerce merchandise buyers &amp; beyond.

Reporting to the Vice President, Audience Development, this role combines strategic thinking, hands-on campaign execution and data-driven performance optimization. You&rsquo;ll leverage proprietary technology, paid and organic marketing channels, live events and third-party audience tools to deliver measurable growth for artists and label partners across multiple genres and career stages.

Please note: This is a hands-on role that will occasionally require evening or weekend work to support priority releases &amp; live events.

<ul><li>Partnering closely with our Marketing Strategists, you&rsquo;ll lead the day-to-day development and execution of strategies that grow artists&rsquo; first-party fan audiences across email &amp; SMS.</li>
<li>Use data to identify the right value exchange for each audience, including exclusive content, early merchandise access, contests, ticket presales, live-event activations and other fan experiences.</li>
<li>Develop scalable acquisition frameworks &amp; benchmarks that can be adapted across artists, genres, &amp; campaign types.</li>
<li>Partner closely with the Associate Director, Fan Engagement &amp; CRM to ensure newly acquired fans enter CRM lifecycle journeys and receive a cohesive experience from initial sign-up through conversion and retention.</li>
</ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">Campaign Execution &amp; Optimization</h3>
<ul><li>Support our Marketing Strategists by owning the end-to-end execution of fan acquisition campaigns, including campaign planning, audience strategy, platform setup, landing pages, sign-up flows, testing, launch and performance reporting.</li>
<li>Collaborate with Marketing Strategy &amp; Global Paid Media teams to develop and optimize impactful paid lead-generation campaigns across Meta, TikTok and other relevant platforms.</li>
<li>Establish testing frameworks and best practices across landing pages, forms, incentives, messaging and acquisition channels to improve both the volume and quality of acquired fans.</li>
</ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">E-Commerce &amp; Revenue Growth</h3>
<ul><li>Partner with D2C, CRM and Marketing Strategy teams to connect your acquisition campaigns to downstream product discovery, sales conversion and repeat-purchase opportunities.</li>
<li>Use transactional and behavioral data to identify the channels, campaigns and fan segments most likely to generate merchandise revenue.</li>
<li>Collaborate with the Associate Director, Fan Engagement &amp; CRM to build clear handoff strategies that move newly acquired fans into personalized welcome, nurture and conversion journeys.</li>
<li>Collaborate with the Associate Director, Fan Engagement &amp; CRM and Global Paid Media to evaluate acquisition performance beyond initial sign-up volume, using metrics such as cost per acquired fan, subscriber quality, engagement, first-purchase conversion, revenue per acquired fan and return on investment.</li>
</ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">Audience Insights, Measurement &amp; Reporting</h3>
<ul><li>Develop reporting frameworks that connect fan acquisition activity to downstream engagement, streaming, ticketing and e-commerce outcomes.</li>
<li>Define campaign KPIs and benchmarks across acquisition channels, markets, artists and campaign types.</li>
<li>Analyze fan behavior to identify high-value audience segments, acquisition sources and conversion patterns.</li>
<li>Translate performance data into clear, actionable recommendations for internal teams, artists and label partners.</li>
<li>Build case studies and best-practice guidance that can help scale successful acquisition strategies across the organization.</li>
</ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">Tools, Technology &amp; Innovation</h3>
<ul><li>Oversee the strategic use of proprietary and third-party audience acquisition tools, landing-page platforms and CRM integrations.</li>
<li>Identify opportunities to improve fan sign-up experiences, progressive data collection, audience segmentation, consent management and data enrichment.</li>
<li>Partner with Product, Design &amp; Engineering teams to help guide the development of tools and features that improve first-party data acquisition and measurement.</li>
<li>Collaborate with Marketing Strategy, Relationship Management, Fan Engagement &amp; CRM, Privacy and Product, Design &amp; Engineering teams to ensure acquisition campaigns comply with global privacy and consent requirements.</li>
<li>Support the Vice President, Audience Development in evaluating and testing new fan acquisition technologies, platforms and partners.</li>
<li>Monitor emerging audience-development trends within music and across industries such as gaming, sports, television, film and retail.</li>
</ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">Cross-Functional Collaboration &amp; Education</h3>
<ul><li>Partner with Relationship Management, Global Paid Media &amp; Growth Strategy, Brand Marketing, Fan Engagement &amp; CRM, D2C e-commerce and Marketing Strategy teams to integrate first-party data acquisition into artist campaigns.</li>
<li>Serve as an audience-development thought leader internally and as a trusted advisor to artist and label partners, providing best-practice guidance and data-driven recommendations.</li>
<li>Educate internal teams and clients on the role first-party fan data can play in driving long-term audience ownership and commercial growth.</li>
<li>Support the Vice President, Audience Development in educating marketers across global markets on acquisition strategies appropriate to their local audiences, platforms, cultures and privacy requirements.</li>
<li>Help establish repeatable processes that make audience acquisition a consistent component of priority artist and release campaigns.</li>
</ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader">Who you are:</h2>
<ul><li>5+ years of audience development, digital marketing, fan acquisition, growth marketing or related experience within music, entertainment or another consumer-focused industry, including e-commerce experience.</li>
<li>Proven track record of growing first-party email and SMS audiences and connecting that growth to measurable business outcomes.</li>
<li>Hands-on experience developing and executing lead-generation campaigns across paid, organic, artist-owned and partner channels.</li>
<li>Experience with audience and marketing platforms such as Klaviyo, Laylo, Salesforce, Braze or similar tools, as well as e-commerce platforms like Shopify.</li>
<li>Understanding of conversion funnels, landing-page optimization, audience targeting, A/B testing and customer acquisition economics.</li>

ABOUT GLOBAL TV DISTRIBUTION
NBCUniversal Global TV Distribution (GTVD) is responsible for the sales and distribution of NBCUniversal product to all forms of television and streaming platforms in over 200 territories across the globe. This includes a rich library of more than 6,000 feature films and 170,000 television episodes, including current and classic titles, non-scripted programming, sports, news, animation, long-form and short-form programming, and locally produced content from around the world. 
ROLE OVERVIEW
The Director of Audience Development will define and lead the strategy to grow audiences and maximize revenue across NBCUniversal&rsquo;s portfolio of wholly owned social and digital channels on YouTube, Facebook, Snapchat, and TikTok. This is a highly commercial role, requiring a strong entrepreneurial mindset and a proactive approach to identifying new revenue opportunities, optimizing content performance, and scaling audience growth across platforms. A core focus of the role will be the management and expansion of a portfolio of conflict-driven daytime talk shows (including Jerry Springer, Maury, Steve Wilkos, and Karamo), leveraging deep content libraries to drive engagement, monetization, and long-term audience growth across platforms. This role is accountable for delivering annual revenue targets set by GTVD, ensuring the portfolio is optimized for monetization, platform performance, and audience scale. 
RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>
Overarching responsibility for the programming of YouTube, Facebook, Snapchat and TikTok channels across the portfolio of conflict-driven daytime talk shows.</li><li>
Lead a team of Associate Content Producers to deliver on Ad-Supported Video on Demand (AVOD) team commercial goals, and lay a framework of management best practice for lead managers to follow.</li><li>
Explore ways to expand and develop the portfolio of internally run channels to increase ultimate revenue share.</li><li>
Report insights to and create presentation decks for internal and external stakeholders.</li><li>

Qualifications

Department Overview
Within Wholesale Finance, the Product Control Team supports TD Securities and is responsible for providing overall end-to-end accountability for the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of optimized processes and controls for financial reporting. Product Control is the primary point of contact on P&amp;L, Balance Sheet, Attribution, and Independent Pricing Verification &amp; Valuation Adjustments reporting and initiatives, exercising an in depth understanding of the products, valuations, and risks of the Business. JOB DESCRIPTION</h2>
We are seeking a Product Designer II to create exceptional user experiences across FOX News Media's digital products, including FOX News, FOX Business and OutKick. You'll design intuitive, engaging experiences across multiple product teams, contributing strong UI/UX craft to initiatives ranging from content discovery and audience engagement to emerging AI-powered experiences.
In this role, you'll partner closely with Product, Engineering, and fellow designers to solve user problems, translate requirements into thoughtful designs, and deliver high-quality web and mobile experiences. You'll have opportunities to grow your product thinking while contributing across the full design process&mdash;from discovery and ideation through implementation.
You'll iterate in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where priorities evolve quickly, experimentation is encouraged, and AI-powered tools help accelerate design and prototyping.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Product Design<ul><li>
Design user experiences across web and mobile products, contributing from concept through implementation.</li><li>
Support translation of user needs, product requirements, and business goals into intuitive, user-centered experiences.</li><li>
Create user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes that clearly communicate design intent.</li><li>
Apply user-centered design principles while balancing usability, technical feasibility, and business objectives.</li></ul>
Design Execution &amp; Craft<ul><li>
Produce polished, visually engaging designs that align with FOX News Media's brand and accessibility standards.</li><li>
Apply strong visual design fundamentals, including typography, hierarchy, layout, color, and interaction design.</li><li>
Contribute to design systems and reusable components to promote consistency across products.</li><li>
Support collaboration with Engineering throughout implementation to ensure design quality and accuracy.</li></ul>
AI-Driven Design &amp; Prototyping<ul><li>
Develop and apply fluency in AI tools (Figma AI, Claude Design, or similar) to accelerate ideation, visual exploration, and concepting.</li><li>
Build functional prototypes that help communicate concepts and validate user experiences.</li><li>
Apply general-purpose AI assistants (Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT, or similar) for research synthesis, UX copy, and design brief development.</li><li>
Stay current on emerging AI-powered design tools and seek opportunities to incorporate them into day-to-day workflows.</li></ul>
Cross-Functional Collaboration<ul><li>
Support collaboration and strong working relationships with Product Managers, Engineers, Researchers, and fellow designers throughout the product development process.</li><li>
Contribute across multiple product initiatives while adapting to evolving priorities.</li><li>
Present design work, explain design decisions, and incorporate feedback from stakeholders and teammates.</li><li>
Participate in design critiques and contribute to a collaborative design culture.</li></ul>
User-Centered Design<ul><li>
Incorporate user research, usability testing, analytics, and feedback into design decisions.</li><li>
Advocate for users while balancing business goals and technical constraints.</li><li>
Continuously iterate on designs based on insights, testing, and product feedback.</li></ul>
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Required<ul><li>
Typically, 2+ years of experience designing digital products for web and mobile platforms.</li><li>
A portfolio demonstrating strong UX, interaction, and visual design skills across consumer-facing digital products.</li><li>
Experience designing responsive web and native mobile experiences.</li><li>
Proficiency with Figma and modern product design workflows.</li><li>
Experience using AI-powered design and coding tools (Cursor, Claude, GitHub Copilot, or similar) to support design exploration and prototyping.</li><li>
Ability to create interactive prototypes that effectively communicate user experiences.</li><li>
Understanding of responsive design, accessibility best practices, and design systems.</li><li>
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain design decisions to cross-functional partners.</li><li>
Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities in an iterative environment.</li><li>
Regular, on-site attendance at the workplace a minimum of 3 days per week is an essential function of the position. Selected candidate must be able to reliably meet this requirement.</li></ul>
NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER<ul><li>
Experience designing consumer-facing products in digital media, publishing, streaming, or content-rich platforms.</li><li>
Familiarity with design systems and component-based design.</li><li>
Experience conducting or supporting user research and usability testing.</li><li>
Exposure to AI-powered product experiences or emerging technologies.</li><li>
Basic understanding of front-end technologies and implementation considerations.</li></ul>

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $92,000.00-124,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
