About the Role

We are seeking a visionary Senior Brand Manager for Lume Deodorant to drive impact on a high growth product. In this role, you will drive brand performance and growth through strategic decisions related to pricing, promotion, innovation, margin, and distribution by leveraging data and insights to understand category and consumer dynamics, monitoring brand performance, and recommending optimizations. The Senior Brand Manager will also contribute to new product development from brief to launch, maintain an omni-channel calendar of key brand moments, analyze market trends and competitor activity for growth opportunities, and manage the brand budget including invoicing, PO creation, and reconciliation.

What you will accomplish</h3>
<ul><li>Lead brand strategies rooted in deep consumer insights and cultural understanding. Develop and execute integrated marketing plans across media, content, innovation, and retail, driving both long-term brand equity and short-term demand.</li>
<li>Own P&amp;L performance and deliver growth through strategic choices across pricing, promotion, innovation, margin, and distribution</li>
<li>Leverage data tools and consumer insights to develop firm understanding of category and consumer dynamics. Monitor performance of the brand and proactively recommend optimizations informed by an in-depth understanding of the brand positioning, consumer target, category and competitive set.</li>
<li>With the support of the Brand Director, contribute to the process of bringing new products to life, from project brief development to launch, using the Stage Gate process.</li>
<li>Develop and maintain an omni-channel calendar of key brand moments (product launches, deal periods, in-store marketing activity, big marketing activations, etc.) that's widely shared.</li>
<li>Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth.</li>

This should describe you

<li>Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. MBA is preferred.</li>

Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing and Communications, this role ensures a unified and compelling institutional voice that strengthens the LIM brand, supports enrollment and retention, and builds awareness among external audiences. 
 
The Director is responsible for shaping and managing content strategy across the College&rsquo;s website, video, photography, print, and digital marketing channels (excluding social media). This includes leading storytelling initiatives that highlight the LIM community, aligning content with institutional priorities, and ensuring quality, consistency, and effectiveness across platforms. 
 
This role also manages vendors, student workers, and internal partners to deliver high-quality, on-brand content. The Director will be both a hands-on creator and a manager, combining vision and strategy with day-to-day execution.

</div><div>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES</div>
<div></div><div>Brand &amp; Content Strategy</div>
<ul><li>With the VP, lead the ongoing refinement of the College&rsquo;s brand positioning, identity framework,</li>
<li>audience personas, and key messaging.</li>
<li>Lead development and execution of College-wide brand and content strategy, ensuring a unified voice and consistent messaging across website, video, photography, print, and digital channels.</li>
<li>Partner with Admissions, Student Affairs, Academic Affairs, and other stakeholders to identify and tell stories that strengthen recruitment, retention, and institutional reputation.</li>
<li>Ensure all content aligns with LIM&rsquo;s brand identity and strategic priorities, with a particular focus on</li>
<li>enrollment marketing and student success.</li>
<li>Collaborate with the AVP of Communications to ensure alignment between internal communications, external messaging, and crisis communications.</li>
<li>Provide brand guidance to faculty and student-facing departments across campus, ensuring that</li>
<li>marketing efforts align with the College&rsquo;s strategic goals and messaging.</li>
<li>Collaborate with the Assistant Director of Enrollment Marketing to ensure social media strategy and execution align with overall brand and content priorities, reinforcing a consistent institutional voice across channels.</li>

Website &amp; Digital Content</div>
<ul><li>Oversee content creation, optimization, and governance for LIM&rsquo;s website, ensuring accuracy,</li>
<li>accessibility, and alignment with SEO best practices.</li>
<li>Collaborate with external vendors to maintain and evolve the College&rsquo;s digital presence.</li>
<li>Monitor content performance and use analytics to inform improvements in messaging and user experience.</li>
<li>Manage the College&rsquo;s website chatbot, including content updates, performance monitoring, and</li>
<li>optimization to enhance user engagement and support prospective student inquiries.</li>
<li>Oversee and maintain the knowledge base for the College's AI Recruiter, ensuring content accuracy and alignment with institutional messaging to support effective admissions recruitment efforts.</li>

<ul><li>Direct and manage external vendors in the conception of, planning, and production of video and</li>
<li>photography projects that showcase LIM&rsquo;s people, programs, and outcomes.</li>
<li>Lead the planning and management of the video and photography budget, ensuring resources are allocated for maximum creative and institutional value.</li>
<li>Manage LIM&rsquo;s digital media assets, ensuring organized storage, access, and usage across the</li>
<li>College.</li>
<li>Maintain and update the College&rsquo;s virtual campus tour.</li>

<ul><li>Manage the project management process for all writing and print projects across the Marketing team, ensuring workflows are efficient, deadlines are met, and deliverables align with brand standards.</li>
<li>Develop and edit written content for a wide range of platforms, including the website, print collateral, landing pages, email campaigns, and blog posts.</li>
<li>Oversee the full lifecycle of print collateral, from managing redesigns with vendors and copyediting, to coordinating with printers, reviewing proofs, and ensuring timely delivery to internal teams or prospective students.</li>
<li>Partner with Admissions to produce compelling content for prospective students and families.</li>
<li>Review and approve promotional materials produced by third-party partners to ensure brand consistency and accuracy.</li>
<li>Ensure the Admissions team is consistently provided with marketing collateral that will support their recruitment and outreach efforts.</li>
<li>Develop metrics and standards for web and content-related evaluation, report on effectiveness and recommend and implement changes as appropriate.</li>
<li>Contribute to crisis communications and internal messaging as needed.</li>

<ul><li>Supervise and mentor student workers and part-time staff engaged in content creation.</li>
<li>Manage (and act as main point-of-contact for) vendor relationships on identified contracts related to the College&rsquo;s website and content goals, supporting the College&rsquo;s brand development and reputation- building activities.</li>
<li>When applicable, lead the RFP process for the assessment, review and selection of key external vendors such as a brand strategy firm, media agency, research firm, creative vendors, as required.</li>
<li>Partner with the VP to set annual content priorities and measure outcomes.</li>
<li>Serve as a key representative on institutional committees related to marketing and communications.</li></ul>

The Junior Art Director will be a key contributor to the branding and corporate identity process, with the ability to work with autonomy.
