Job Description: 
 
The Budget Unit seeks to hire a Budget Analyst to analyze and implement the agency&rsquo;s budget and revenue activities. This position will report to the Budget Director and requires some degree of independent judgement and decision-making. 
 
The Analyst&rsquo;s responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 
 
<ul><li>Work closely with members of the Budget Unit to ensure that all agency and division goals and policies are identified and met.</li><li>Review and analyze the agency&rsquo;s expense and revenue budget and make recommendations for planning and corrective actions, with the goal of minimizing end of year surpluses and avoiding deficits.</li><li>Conduct analyses on program efficiencies in the use of financial resources and make recommendations with the purpose of enhancing efficiency and increasing productivity. Columbia University Medical Center is seeking a detail-oriented finance professional to join its Facilities Management Finance Team. Reporting to the Director of Finance and Administration, this role supports a broad and complex departmental budget portfolio spanning multiple distinct business lines.

A major component of this position is the tracking, reconciliation, and analysis of departmental expenses, recoveries and revenues to ensure proper management reporting and audit support can take place.

 Works with FP&amp;A Manager to create reports tailored to the needs of the FP&amp;A Department and Store Management
