Job Description 
AECOM is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst &ndash; AI &amp; Automation to help define how the business operates today and how it evolves through the use of AI and intelligent automation.
The primary focus of this role is understanding complex business workflows and identifying where AI-enabled capabilities, intelligent automation, and decision-support systems can improve operational performance and scalability.
This role is responsible for translating real-world business processes into clearly defined, AI-ready workflows. You will document how work actually happens, identify decision points and inefficiencies, and define where AI or automation can be applied in a practical, scalable way.

</div></li></ul>Mergers &amp; Acquisitions (M&amp;A) Support
<ul><li><div>Assist in developing M&amp;A presentation materials including teasers, Confidential Information Memorandums (CIMs), and M&amp;A Board decks (volume dependent on deal flow).
</div></li><li><div>Maintain and regularly update the Dealroom platform (the company&rsquo;s M&amp;A workflow tool) to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and readiness for ongoing and potential transactions.
</div></li><li><div>Maintain and update peer financials and multiples for M&amp;A transactions on a regular basis.
</div></li></ul>Skills Required:
<ul><li><div>Entry-level to developing knowledge of corporate finance, including an understanding of financial statements (P&amp;L, balance sheet, cash flow), financial ratios, and basic valuation concepts.
</div></li><li><div>Strong analytical skills with the ability to organize, interpret, and present quantitative and qualitative data clearly and accurately.
</div></li><li><div>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel (pivot tables, data organization, formulas).
</div></li><li><div>Prior exposure to Investor Relations tools (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet, Nasdaq IR Insight, Capital IQ, AlphaSense) is not required but beneficial.
</div></li><li><div>Demonstrated openness and ability to learn new digital platforms and technology systems quickly.
</div></li><li><div>Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, particularly when dealing with financial data.
</div></li><li><div>Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines while maintaining high quality.
