Requirements:</h3>
<ul><li>
High School Diploma or GED required.
</li><li>
At least 2 years (2,500 hours) of documented experience working with children&mdash;babysitting counts!
</li><li>
Must meet the minimum DHS qualification of Assistant Group Supervisor.
</li><li>
Experience leading or developing group/classroom activities is strongly preferred.
</li></ul>
<h3 class="jobSectionHeader">Physical Requirements:</h3>
<ul><li>
Ability to lift, turn, and move objects up to 30 lbs independently; for anything over 30 lbs, you&rsquo;ll have assistance.
</li><li>
Able to stand, walk, and move freely for extended periods of time.
</li><li>
Quick to respond in case of emergencies.
</li><li>
Physically capable of assisting in the safe management of children.
</li><li>
Willing and able to participate in activities requiring: 
 Running, Walking, Kneeling, Lifting, Squatting, Reaching, and more.
</li><li>
Normal range of hearing and vision required.
</li></ul>
<h3 class="jobSectionHeader">Other Requirements:</h3>
<ul><li>
Must submit applications for the following clearances prior to employment:
<ul><li>
PA State Police Criminal Clearance
</li><li>
PA Child Abuse History Clearance
</li><li>
FBI Clearance through the Department of Human Services
</li><li>
National Sex Offender Registry Clearance
</li><li>
(If applicable) Department of Aging FBI Clearance for those new to PA in the last 5 years.
</li></ul>
</li><li>Must sign a Criminal History &amp; Child Abuse Disclosure Statement upon hire.
</li><li>
Clearances must be renewed every 5 years.
</li><li>
If you&rsquo;ve lived outside PA in the last 5 years, clearances from those states are also required before employment.
</li><li>
Submit a health assessment upon hire and every two years thereafter.
</li><li>
Provide Mantoux Tuberculin skin test results upon hire and annually.
</li><li>
Obtain and maintain Child CPR Certification.
</li></ul>
