<div>At Houston Methodist, the Physician Assistant (PA) (ACLS) functions as an advanced practice practitioner, responsible for maintaining and promoting the health of the patient requiring care, practicing medicine under the supervision of a licensed physician. This position will provide diagnostic, therapeutic, surgical and preventative care, under the supervision of a physician. The Inpatient Stem Cell Transplant &amp; Cellular Therapy unit is a 48 bed unit and is one of our designated immunotherapy floors, administering research protocols involving immunotherapy and CARTOX therapy to patients, including Phase 1 clinical trials. As such, our staff receive additional training to develop the skills needed to provide exceptional care to patients receiving this progressive therapy. 
 
Hourly breakdown of salary range: 
Minimum $16.59 - Midpoint $20.72 - Maximum $24.76

Essential Job Functions: 
Acts as member of a multidisciplinary team that identifies and addresses patient care needs. Assists in completion of activities of daily living, mobilization, admit/discharge and obtaining vital signs. Updates and retrieves patient information. Ensures patient environment is maintained in a clean, safe and orderly manner. Acts as part of an assigned care team.
