The Customer Success Team is responsible for the overall business and executive relationship with TELUS Health customers. Undergraduate degree in Business, Human Resources, Health Sciences or related field</li><li>

Our NY based Leveraged Finance team is directly responsible for origination and execution of LBOs with leading Private Equity Funds in North America, as well as financings for leveraged (non-investment grade) corporates, across loans and HY bonds. In addition, the team is also in charge of event driven financings (M&amp;A and IPO related) for Investment Grade clients, and of leveraged / structured financing transactions in the TMT sector, including the current wave of infrastructure flavored deals (towercos, data centers, fibercos, GPU Financings) with Infrastructure Funds, across North America and Latam. It is referred to internally as the &ldquo;LATFG&rdquo; team (Leveraged, Acquisition &amp; TMT Finance).
 
 
 
 
 
 Building on its recent successes, the team is expanding to support its strong growth ambitions. In order to address the increasing volumes of credit and reporting management work generated by our expanding loan portfolio, we are setting up a portfolio management (PFM) team.
 
 
 We are opening a Portfolio Management analyst position. The analyst will report to the Director in charge of Portfolio Management, with regular interaction with the origination part of LATFG team.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 
 
 
 
 1) Credit monitoring of our loan portfolio:
 
 
 Contribute to the ongoing credit monitoring work for part of the leveraged finance and TMT loan portfolio (current volume of about 75 deals): write up of annual reviews, credit papers in relation to
 
 
 waivers and amendments, quarterly write ups for distressed loans. In close coordination with
 
 
 respective deal/client teams.
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Proactively flag to client teams any early warning signals of credit deterioration, concerns, or ideas for commercial opportunities
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure timely propagation of internal risk rating decisions within the internal IT systems.
 </li>
 <li>
 Occasionally represent the team in the various credit committees (NY credit committee, CLF credit committee, CRC) and monitoring committees (Quarterly committees for underperforming loans or loans under watchlist &ldquo;SARs&rdquo; and &ldquo;SACs&rdquo;), underperforming or under watch loans
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate with CLF Loan Operations team to monitor evolution of the portfolio (increases or reductions via amortization, prepayments, secondary trades etc)
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate with CLF Loan Operations and respective deal/client teams to ensure authorizations recorded in internal systems are accurate and up to date.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain close coordination on all of the above tasks with respective LATFG client teams. Interact with clients whenever necessary to clarify credit related questions, in coordination with the LATFG client team.
 </li>
 <li>
 Review quarterly or annual information provided by client, connect to lender or investor calls organized by clients and relay summaries of meaningful information to LATFG team manager and respective LATFG client team.
 </li>
 <li>
 Depending on deal flow, there will also be occasional opportunities to get involved in live, new deals as part of the origination deal team.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 2) Contribute to Internal and Regulatory Reporting:

 Collect data and under PFM Director, assist with the regular requests for reporting from our
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 internal stakeholders (HO business line, COO teams, RPC): monthly anomaly reports, monthly
 
 
 LevFin excel pipeline, quarterly portfolio review files, &ldquo;deals world&rdquo; database for LBOs, etc

 <li>
 Contribute to recurring, ad hoc, and annual audits (NY annual and quarterly Compliance Loan Review, ad hoc NY portfolio reviews, Internal Audit &ldquo;Inspection Generale&rdquo;, add hoc CUSO reviews)
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist team manager and respective deal teams in ensuring that the CLF pipeline tool (&ldquo;Diamond&rdquo;) is up to date.
 </li>
 <li>
 Contribute to occasional ad hoc information requests when and as required
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist LATFG manager with periodic estimate of landing vs budget and other planning tasks
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Candidate background / experience
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Ideally 1-2 years experience in either a leveraged finance environment (portfolio management, credit analyst or origination and execution), or a credit risk / credit underwriting and monitoring function.
 </li>
 <li>
 Relevant academic background (BA/BS degree with economics/finance major coursework, ideally Master's degree &ndash; Msc Finance or MBA).
 </li>

 Skills

 Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
 </li>
 <li>
 Prior experience in financial analysis, cash flow modeling experience will be a plus
 </li>
 <li>
 Reliability, attention to detail and quality outputs,

 Good organizational skills: ability to keep track of deadlines, to organize its own work
 </li>
 <li>
 Good communication and interpersonal skills (ability to communicate seamlessly with various front office deal teams, and capacity to interact convincingly and forcefully with internal partners, in particular with risk &amp; senior representatives from business line or coverage)
 </li>
 <li>
 MS Office suite proficiency
 </li>
 <li>
 Fluency in a second language (in particular French, Portuguese, Spanish) is a plus.
