Business evaluation may be hospital specific such as the evaluation of a new clinic site of service and the impact on costs and reimbursement, or it may be at the health system level such as evaluating the feasibility of a centralized compounding center or the potential margin from a new payer contract.
</p></li><li><p>Perform financial analysis for the President of UW Medicine Hospitals and Clinics.
</p></li><li><p>Work closely with Pharmacy ITS team and Finance to integrate pharmacy data sources with other clinical and financial data to improve patient level clinical and financial data for use in Health System business planning.
</p></li><li><p>Assist pharmacy staff and leadership navigating clinical and financial systems, for example providing demographic data for drug analysis or building demographic projections for use in clinical planning.
</p></li><li><p>Develop the annual price increase recommendation including modeling potential price changes and the impact on charges and reimbursement.
</p></li><li><p>Performs ad hoc reimbursement analysis for drugs and subsets of drugs as needed for decision making.

We are looking for a Clinical Research Coordinator 2, a Seattle-based role responsible for handling clinical research study materials and specimens for the Clinical team. This position will report to our Associate Director, Clinical Operations. An ideal candidate will have at a minimum 2 years&rsquo; experience in a participant-facing clinical research setting.</p></div><div><p><b><br>
What You Will Do</b><br>

Conduct Clinical Research Studies:</p><ul><li>
Recruit, prescreen, and obtain informed consent from prospective study participants</li><li>
Conduct clinical study visits, including collecting medical history, performing protocol-specified procedures and phlebotomy, and recording source data</li><li>
Provide study devices to participants and educate them on proper use</li><li>
Collect, process, and prepare specimens in accordance with clinical and laboratory protocols</li><li>
Maintain screening logs, enrollment logs, and participant records, both manually and electronically</li><li>
Enter and validate study data, e.g., into electronic data capture (EDC) platforms or study spreadsheets</li><li>
Support protocol compliance and participate in quality reviews of study activities</li><li>
