The role serves as the primary technical representative on-site, providing technical expertise, job supervision, troubleshooting, and customer support while maintaining the highest standards of HSE, quality, and operational excellence.
</p><p><b>Responsibilities
</b></p><ul><li>Plan, supervise, and execute completion operations in accordance with Weatherford and customer procedures.
</li><li>Prepare <b>completion tallies </b>, review <b>completion schematics </b>, and ensure accurate job planning and execution.
</li><li>Perform <b>space-out calculations </b>and verify completion string configurations prior to deployment.
</li><li>Install, test, troubleshoot, maintain, and retrieve completion equipment and downhole tools.
</li><li>Support <b>Smart Completion </b>operations, including installation and operation of <b>downhole gauges, Inflow Control Valves (ICVs), fiber optic systems </b>, and other intelligent completion technologies.
</li><li>Conduct equipment inspections, pressure testing, risk assessments, and post-job reporting.
</li><li>Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and completion system issues to minimize non-productive time (NPT).
</li><li>Ensure compliance with Weatherford HSE standards, quality procedures, and customer requirements.
</li><li>Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior field personnel.
</li><li>Maintain accurate operational reports, maintenance records, and service documentation.
</li><li>Liaise effectively with customers, drilling and completion teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful job execution.
</li></ul><p><b>Qualifications
</b></p><ul><li><b>Bachelor's degree or Diploma </b>in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline, depending on level of experience.
</li><li>Minimum <b>5&ndash;8 years </b>of oilfield experience in completion operations.
</li><li><b>At least 2&ndash;3 years of extensive hands-on experience </b>in one or more of the following:
<ul><li>Core Completions (tally preparation, completion schematics, job supervision, and space-out calculations)
</li><li>Smart Completions (downhole gauges, Intelligent Control Valves (ICVs), fiber optic systems, and related completion technologies)
</li></ul></li><li>Previous experience with an oilfield service company is preferred.
</li><li>Offshore experience and certifications such as <b>BOSIET/HUET, H2S, and Offshore Medical </b>are highly desirable.
</li></ul><p><b>Skills
</b></p><ul><li>Strong knowledge of completion systems, downhole tools, well integrity, and pressure control principles.
</li><li>Proficiency in completion tally preparation, schematic interpretation, and completion string design.
</li><li>Experience with Smart Completion technologies and intelligent well systems.
</li><li>Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
</li><li>Strong leadership, communication, and customer relationship management abilities.
</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital field reporting systems.
</li><li>Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
</li><li>Ability to work independently in demanding field environments and collaborate effectively within multicultural teams.
</li></ul><p><b>Working Conditions
</b></p><ul><li>Field-based role supporting onshore and offshore completion operations in the UAE and other locations as required.
</li><li><b>Rotational work schedule: 2 months on / 1 month off (60/30).
</b></li><li>Frequent travel and extended assignments at remote field locations.
</li><li>Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including extreme temperatures and extended operational hours when required.</li></ul></div><p></p>
